Ohio cracked down, but dealers moved elsewhere

This article was in our local newspaper.
Pretty interesting:

Amazingly the "O" word was completely absent from that article! My impression is that this piece was well researched. The Plain Dealer is a pretty good newspaper.

I just read another OP related report from that same paper a couple days ago. It seems they have a big interest in the OP topics.

Digit,
Would you mind sharing that article you seen a couple of day's ago in the PD? I must have missed it.
You can IM it if needed. Thank you.

I wish the(news/papers) would explain how some people's Drs. refuse to script pain meds to suffers. And why some of us have to resort to OP's.(sometimes it's insurance reasons)

They ALWAYS report about the people that abuse it i.e. drug seekers, dealers,NROP's and unfortunately overdose. My sympathy goes out to the people that have lost a loved one.

Take care all..have a wonderful day!
-Pam

Fascinating story, PamiX. I'm afraid that the govt's efforts to curtail Online Pharmacies [OP's] will be rewarded from time to time, but the amounts of money to be made overwhelm their efforts to stop it. It's grown to become a billion dollar industry - and that may be a conservative number.

Happy Holidays!

Sure thing... I now see it is dated 12-19-2004 also. I am a previous Didrex user (overweight) and found this one that starts off on the subject of Didrex.. via Google:

"ONLINE DRUGS: Easy to buy, tough to control"
http://www.cleveland.com/news/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/news/110345384929970.xml

It's really NOT a positive OP report either... It makes them all sound very bad an ileagle!! (I hate this kind of reporting!)
