I have ordered medications numerous times from two different IOP in the Phillippines, and never had a problem receiving my orders. The last two orders from the two different IOP's resulted in seizures. Also my last order from England was also seized. That is three seizures in the past month (I hope the "three strikes your out" rule does not apply). Has anyone else noticed an increase in seizure notices. It seems strange, especially around Christmas when the flood of mail and packages would seem impossible to inspect. I'm starting to wonder if my name and address has been black listed. Any comments or advice will be appreciated.

All three were love letters. The two love letters for the Philippine orders came from San Francisco CA. The England order, the letter came from Chicago IL. The Phillipine IOP's are offering a reshipment if I fax them a copy of the love letters. I'm not sure if thats a good idea, I mean how many seizures will customs tolerate?

Fax the notices and have the reship sent elsewhere

me too, 1 order from a Phillipines IOP sent in 3 separate shipments recently. The first part had been inspected by customs & sent on, the 2nd seized with love letter threatening prosecution for any further breaches by me. The 3rd arrived ok a few days later.
This is Australia of course but it seems that international customs share their info. Im in a position now of being too scared to continue ordering from IOPs unless I can organise a PO Box that doesnt need ID to set up

A P.O. box number in the states requires a permanent U.S. address, which the post office can trace back to the owner of the P.O. box. I found this out when I tried to get one as a temporary mailing address. I was moving to a new state and I was living in a Hotel until I found an apartment. The post office would not give me the P.O. box because a motel is not a considered a permanent address.
I just got an email from the IOP, they are going to reship my order. I hope it gets through this time. I dread another love letter. I feel like some kind of criminal, just for some simple pain medications.

What you're doing is essentially illegal in the eyes of the federal govt. However having said that, I do not think the govt is prosecuting deliverees for small shipments of imported drugs. At least I have never heard of them doing that. They just have too much on their plate.
On the other hand - I would feel terrible if I encouraged you to continue and they prosecuted you. But I'm pretty sure you have nothing to worry about - along with the tens of thousands of other folks in our great country.
Realistically, what would the govt look like prosecuting us poor folks for something that we take responsibility for? Can you imagine the terrible press they'd get for prosecuting some poor pain-ridden grandmother for a few dozens of pills when our health care system is held together by duct tape and string? In any event, good luck with your future shipments if that be the case.
Happy Holidays!

Thank you Fred S. I feel a little reassured about this whole thing. I got an email back from one of the IOP's, they told me 98% of shipments to the U.S. are arriving. I think that is a pretty good percentage. I guess I just had a little bad luck this time.

I have completely stopped using IOPs. Five orders. Five seizures! Four different companies, three different countries. I also used three different addresses. If you do some searching and PMing, you'll discover, I fear, that seizures are WAY up. Companies that suggest they have a 98-percent successful delivery rate are being HIGHLY optimistic, IMO.
I have four close friends who, like me, have had successful IOP deliveries in the past. No more. ALL have experienced seizures recently.
Indeed, if you spend a couple of hours reading this board, you'll discover that the days of successful orders of inexpensive meds are OVER. Many, many IOP seizures. NROPs shutting down left and right. More and more OPs restricting which states they'll deliver to. And the FEW that seem to be having less problems are raising their prices to ridiculous levels.
Look back on the "good old days" with fondness. Because they're gone. Anyone here who was regularly ordering their meds, say, three years ago will tell you. The difference between THEN and NOW is the difference between NIGHT and DAY.
Sorry to have to drop this bomb on all the very new participants in this board, but it's the truth.

IMO - it's just a change in business practices. Admitted, risk is higher now, but there is a lot of money to be made by IOP's and NROPS. Their practices will continue to evolve to meet demand.

Personally, I look for a rise in the amount of email only sources being offered in the future. When the dust finally clears in these wars of the goverments versus the iop/op sources, I feel we all will all be doing battle with large scale disinformation campaigns aimed at undermining the credability of any no-records meds source.

I think the rate is higher but I recently got an IOP order with no problem. Guess its luck of the draw but buy no means are the days over.
They just need to alter shipping/packing thats all.
I'm not worried.

...most likely theft Phillippine postal workers or Phillippine customs.
More than one Fillipino acquaintance has told me that when packages are sent there, only about 50% arrive at the intended destination...the rest are lost to theft.

Not in the U.S. The USPS issued regulations in 1997 making the ID requirements for Private Mail Boxes (PMBs) the same as POBs. You can get prison time for submitting false information on the USPS form that you have to fill out to get a PMB and they can get their mail service cut off and be fined if they don't comply with those regulations.
Both POBs and PMBs require both a picture ID as well as proof of your actual street address like from a utility bill or rental agreement. The reason for the regulations was to crack down on fradulent businesses using PMBs. A side effect is that if you get mail in a box, they know where to find you. The PO doesn't have to deliver mail to a PMB for anybody who hasn't filled out that form.
You can probably still have mail sent to "Poste Restante" or "General Delivery" where the addressee shows ID and picks it up at the counter. People do that to get mail while they're traveling. I'm sure that Customs loves seeing those ...

I can confirm that LOTS of people still get mail addressed to "General Delivery". It's still very common in the small towns across America. Often no i.d. is needed because everyone already knows the names of the ones that live in their home town anyway.

No I do not think it is your name or address because I also hade my order seized too. It looks like this is happening to alot of other also from feedback I have read on the company I ordered threw!! I think it really stinks.. Because of all times for me the holidays prove to be the hardest for anxiety attacks & migraines and now I am having to suffer in a terrible way because of this!! My op said that they have re-shipped priority mail on the 16th. but it still has not arrived yet!! So all I can do now is avoid public busy places & deal with the thought of my whole family gathering here in 5 hours for a day of craziness {mostly because I will be a pile of nerves and running to get away as often as possible!!} but when all is said and done I will survive I am guessing...But my medication would of been a blessing for everyone around me to!
good luck on getting your medication soon!

I just received one of my reshipments. The packaging was excellent. Very good customer service. You cannot beat the prices from these IOP's. Why can't customs just leave us alone! You would think these small orders for medications would be the least of there concerns.

I think once in a while they get lucky and probably laugh when they see a package for 100 valiums. I agree though, they should leave us alone.
