Can anyone give me some info on this med? I think i heard that it melts in your mouth and it takes alot less time for it to start working like hydro or norco pills do and lso have heard that it actually lasts longer in your system?? i am need to find info on this drug so i can print it out and take t my Pain doc to se if they will switch me from pers to this since i do not get any pain relief from the pers or the hydro any longer....any help would be great....TIA
Zydone is Hydro 10/400 and it doesn't melt in your mouth, it takes about 1/4 of the time to work than regular Norco so instead of waiting an hr for Norco to work Zydone takes 15-20 to kick in. Personally I thought Zydone didn't last as long as the Norco brand 10/325 for pain relief, and normally they cost more on the OP's as the Norco's. For me Norco's usually last 2 1/2 hrs to maybe 3 1/2 and Zydone was like 2 to 2 1/2 hrs before they wore off, but everybody's system is different. Hope this helps some.

i like the idea of it working faster but not the wearing off quicker...any suggestions for a breakthrough med that lasts longer than hydro/norco?? i have been on both plus on pers and none of them seem to help at all.....TIA
