I have had both the Mallies and the watson Lorcet and they both worked fine for me.

The mallies I have received before were white. I thought they worked good for my pain, made me a little tired the first few days though.

Generic Lorcet 10/650 made by Malinkrodt are not white. They are blue with an imprint of M361. Perhaps you received generic "Lortabs" and confused them with the Lorcet 10/650 that is being referred to.
BTW, I have taken brand, Watson and Mallie Lorcet 10/650 and didn't really notice a difference. I was on Mallie Lorcet for a while and kinda got used to them. This was before I learned about Norco's and decided to switch to 10/325's to lower my APAP intake.

Personally i don't like the Mallies they tend to make me nausea's and i think it is because they have too much dye in them since they seem to have a bad taste to them too.

Yep I think you are right now that I think about it, sorry I posted wrong. The names are so much the same.

You could try Online-Scripts I'm not sure what the normal price for this medication is, but they usually have pretty fair prices.

As of Monday 10/25/04, ExpressReliefServices.com was offering your first month prescription for Free if you chose Lorcet 10/650. I don't know how long they were offering it with the first month free, but they do have it available.

Pardon a newbi question, But why wouldn't the various generics, or name brands for that matter not be 100% identical?
What could be the difference between a 10/500 from one maker rather than another? Don't they contain exactly the same thing?

I have taken lorcet10/650 for years, on and off. I personally believe the Watson brand, which is the green ones with 503 on it, is as good as the brand name. The mallies are cheaper made IMO. The 10/500 Watsons are also just like the brand, but I still prefer the 10/650 Watsons.
