Can you have your packages held at the Fed EX hub just like you can at the UPS HUB? That is what I always did before so that I didn't have to sit around and wait for the UPS man to show up with my meds, because I live so far away from everything. So I would like to do the same thing with Fed EX if that is what the new NROP uses.

Is that the only way Fed Ex will do it? Because at UPS you can have it sent right to them for them to hold for you to pick up.

YOu can do the same with FedEx. I've been doing it all the time with my Ephy order. I just use the local FedEx hub address as the delivery address and then I pick it up first thing in the morning that it arrives. Never any problems.

use the fed ex hub as your shipping address, there was another tread about this but this is how your shipping should read:
YOUR NAME
YOUR PHONE NUMBER
HOLD FOR PICK UP AT CUSTOMER COUNTER
FED EX HUB ADDRESS
CITY, STATE ZIP
they will call you as soon as they get the package at the counter to let you know you can pick it up if your phone #'s on it

Thanks so much. I was really hoping I could do this with Fed Ex. Once I found out (from this board of course) that you could do it with UPS, I never get a package sent to my home anymore. It is so much easier to go pick it up..IMO.

Recently I ordered 2 day air and received the package the next day. It was addressed to the Fedex hub. In addition, the hub is open Saturdays for pickup. Do check in your area, as not all Fedex sites are open on Saturday. The hub in my area is also open until 6:30pm.
Having packages addressed to the hub for pickup has worked out well for me. Like other posters, sitting at home waiting for a delivery is very inconvenient.
Just check the hours of the hub you use, in may town they vary a bit.
Good luck

While a 2-Day FedEx package usually arrives at the hub on Saturday when sent out Friday, be aware that they won't make it available for pickup until Monday. You can call CS and ask for them to let you come and get it, but sometimes they'll tell you that it's still "containerized" and that there's no one there to sift through on weekends. And sometimes they'll be able to snag it with no trouble. I get all sorts of shipments for my business and I'd say I've been about 75% successful. You can always tell them it's medication you need and they'll make an extra effort. Best of Luck!!
