UPS bites!
      #205332 - 12/04/04 10:06 PM

My second day package is now 9 days late, and is in the wrong state. Let this be a lesson: stockpile!

I'll spare you all the details, but here is the email I just sent to UPS with a cc to United-Rx.

I don't understand why you will not deliver my package. It contains medicine that I need to function normally. I am in jepardy of losing my job, or worse. I need this medicine.

At 5 AM, Dec 2 you finally located the lost package. At this time it was 6 days OVERDUE. A reasonable course of action would be to ship it priority overnight. Not UPS! You held it for 14 hours before shipping it again, with a new scheduled date of Dec 6! I could have had the package on Dec 3 ( a mere WEEK LATE!) Now I see it is in [CITY & STATE DELETED] ! Where are you planning to ship it now?? PLEASE route this message to your supervisor and keep bumping it up the chain of command until it reaches someone who can do something about getting this package delivered.

I used to like UPS but it's almost like lately they are trying to anger me. My last three packages from them (not meds) have been screwed up. They also missed the Saturday delivery I paid for yesterday (which is meds). I've about had it with them. Customer service is always either rude or incompetent when I call to ask where my late package is (like I have the nerve to call). Just my two cents.

Can someone find that article about UPS and FEDEX cooperating with the DEA?? My UPS guy is great. He told me that they had a memo about meds. I kid you not. Then he told me to go to Canada for them. LOL. He is great.

I agree with UPS being horrible, the only OP I use ships Fedex and it is always on time or early which is something UPS has not accomplished in months. I think all the NROP's caused the problems as they all used UPS and it raised a red flag.

This is in response to Dharma666 comment. In the area I live in no memo has been sent out about meds. Maybe in larger areas that is the the case. I have a UPS shipper acount at my business and my UPS man would tell me since we have been good friends for years. He knows nothing about memo. One of the UPS workers in my area actually has a liking for hyro's and abuses them daily. I'm sure if asked both fedex and UPS would help out DEA. Fedex and post office actually have an alliance you can read more about it here http://www.govexec.com/dailyfed/0101/011101w1.htm
If UPS employee is suspicious they can open your packages. You would be surprised what some people send to empty houses. My UPS man will open package sometimes if he delivers to empty house, but has never turned anyone in for what was in the packages (illegal herb) if you no what I mean.

For the people out there abusing drugs, maybe you are in the wrong profession. I had a family member have to leave the Narcotics force because it was so corrupt. She was actually forced to leave since she was working undercover and discovered alot of people in town in law enforcement and politics were involved w/ illegal drug operations. She told me best place to be if you are a user is on the force. I'm in no way saying it's ok to partake in illegal drugs I just wanted to pass along some info I thought was important.

I wouldnt put anything past them. Amtrack is known to work with the DEA in tipping them off when people pay for tickets cash within a certain amount of departer, and other factors. I have seen 2 DEA agents confront a woman outside of the Amtrack / Tri - Rale station in Fort Lauderdale and start to go through her bag. I don't know if Amtrack did it but I know they get 10 percent of the proceeds if someone they tell on gets popped with dope or cash, or of coarse anything of value that the DEA can legally steal and sell. I would suspect the government has struck similar deals with Fedex and Ups.

Ditto. Although my fiasco was due to the winter storm thing starting on wed/thursday last week. I had an UPS next day air sent on the 22nd, on the 23 (when it should've arrived) there was a comment saying it would be delayed due to weather conditions. So they rescheduled the delivery for the 24th. Now the package has been sitting in my city since saturday and the last comment is" destination scan" last night. It just says in transit, not out-for-delivery. I am probably going to get shafted and have it rescheduled for tommorrow. Ha, 7-8 days for "Next Day Air". Trust me, it won't happen again.

Uh-oh, the UPS man just came with my package. He must've been reading the board. Honestly, after I placed the order and paid 30 dollars extra for overnight shipping on the 22nd, I realized I MAY have made a mistake in trusting them to come through no matter what. Oh well, $hit happens. I should be angry at myself for paying 30 bucks for next day air, when it wasn't an emergency. Like I said, it won't happen again.
