the one i had experience with but I would not reccomend it was hydroxycut. the ephedra made might heart almost jump out of my chest. I would be VERY CAREFUL of any efpedra containing products.
Good Luck.

This is all stuff you buy at the gas station, or the 7-eleven. Loaded with ephedra or caffeine, most likely.
I had good results from Didrex, which can be got easily from an OP, when I gained a little weight due to inactivity.

My husband and I took Xenadrine, neither of us could tolerate it. I got tremors very badly, and not long after taking it, he developed a blood clot in his leg (he's young, too, 36). It really only made me nervous and edgy, but I was still hungry. I surely wouldn't recommend it.

A friend of mine and I started taking trimspa last February? I couldn't tell you if it worked for me, I lose weight fast on the whole- but my friend swears by it. Sometimes, I use some of hers when I'm exhausted after working 9 hours a day and then have to run home, take care of the kid and then run to play a late night game of volleyball and am afraid I won't make it- and it does the trick in that aspect. I stopped taking it because, as I said, I lose weight quickly and didn't really feel it was worth the money. But my friend still uses it and swears it nearly stops her appetite and she feels full faster. She's lost prolly 30 lbs since February this year. Hope this helps. Oh, I also have a friend who used stacker- said it worked really well, but she felt like she was flying all the time. Any product with ephedra in, be careful and if you feel like your heart's going to explode- check with your physician

If you've already made up your mind to take diet pills and know the risks, then the prescription pills are far better. You can get phentermine, phendimetrazine, diethylproprion, benzphetamine, etc. at any questionnaire-based OP by doing a Google search, though prices vary widely. PM me if you need some sources that I've found to be cheap.
Stay away from Xenical unless you plan to make a significant investment in toilet paper
I really can't recommend the ephedra-based products; for the same money you can get a prescription drug that has been shown to be more effective than placebo...more than you can say for unregulated "dietary supplements."
And everyone knows this, but they should only be taken temporarily in conjunction with an exercise program and improved diet. Otherwise the weight will come back, that is a given, and that is how dependence starts, and that is what keeps the industry in business.
Good luck.

As usual, I agree with Yawkaw. "If you've already made up your mind" to take diet pills, you probably won't want to bother reading my post. I have been on a modified low carb diet for the past few months, and I must say, I look pretty decent! I don't feel deprived at all! Losing weight has to become a lifestyle change - not a temporary 'diet'. OK. So much for my sermon.
Diet pills are not an option for me because I have so many muscle spasms and tension headaches. I hate to think what would happen if I was all cranked up on, say, Ionamin. Yikes!
My advice would be to save your money and spend it on a new outfit after you have lost weight the regular way. Yeah. Yeah. I know. Booooo! Flame away, people!

I've found out that just drinking coffee works very well. Take, say, 350 mg caffeine (about 3-4 cups of coffee) every day, and your appetite will decrease. The effects are augmented if you smoke. I would never spend my money on Guaranas, Ginsengs and the like.

I've tried Stacker 3's (the ones with ephedra) and they did decrease my appetite, but gave me an unpleasant speedy effect. Also when the pill starts to wear off, it made me feel nasty. After a couple days, it wasn't so bad. I would only take one a day though. That was all I needed. I did get off of them though because they provoked anxiety and I sure didn't need that! I was thinking about trying phentermine in conjunction with a low carb diet. I had lost 20 pounds doing the low carb diet alone, but fell off the wagon. I am back doing the low carb diet again. Good luck to all of you in the same boat as me. Has anyone had any experiences with phentermine?

I wish I could get any diet med with ephedra. I used it for years taking one or two a day and never had a problem. I loved them. Does anyone know where to get trimspa or any diet pill with ephedra? Barb

I agree that the prescription diet pills are more effective and safer. Ephedra has killed people, and it really messed up my blood pressure and heart beat more than Didrex did. However the prescription pills can be VERY aditive. I lossed almost 100 pounds on Didrex with few side effects other than staying awake too long and a sligtly raised blood pressure. Always watch your blood pressure when taking any of this stuff, it effects some more than others.

Been there, done that. I was doing low carb with Lindora, and even they supplemented with either phentermine or tenuate. I like the energy boost it gives me too - easier to get to the gym that way. You can build up a tolerance pretty quickly so I take 37.5mg phentermine for a couple of days, then 75mg tenuate, and skip a day inbetween. If need be, you can supplement with a short acting tenuate. Only DietPrescriptions carries the short acting 25mg tenuate, and the others can be gotten just about anywhere. I order from USAMedsforLess - cheap, quick, reliable, good quality. Just make sure you have a BMI over 27.
