I'm thinking it's tracking a package without a traking number, like tracking by address or something, is that right? And if so, I registered with UPS, but is there something else I need to do to track a package just by my name or address no tracking number? Thanks you guys for the trouble of answering this in advance!!!
Hi trishwj ... the Quantum View Notification is an email notification that the company you ordered from, sets up with UPS. UPS will send that email to you when they get the info from the company. It says:
This message was sent to you at the request of (company's name) to notify you that the package information below has been transmitted to UPS. The package(s) may not have actually been placed with UPS for shipment. To verify when and if the shipment is tendered to UPS and its actual transit status, click on the tracking link below or contact (company's name) directly.
After that, it includes the following:
-- indicates if an adult signature is required
-- if it's a COD package and the amount
-- details of who it's being shipped to
-- type of delivery, such as Next Day Air, Priority, etc.
-- tracking number
I've heard other people mention that they registered with UPS, but I haven't got around to doing that yet. Been thinking about it. I placed a couple of orders and didn't get a tracking number, but the package showed up anyway ... I just didn't know it was on it's way. You said you already registered with them ... were you able to track your shipment?
