This could be a gold-mine. Just wondering if anyone here has heard of this place.
http://www.frontierpharmacies.com
They ask for your primary care physicians name and phone number. I wonder if they actually call them. Anyone know?
Thanks!

Your not kidding, those prices really look too good to be true. Sends up a redflag, doesn't it. There was a new post made by Melody today regarding sites that look too good to be true. Let me see if I can find it and I will post it in this thread.

Don't get too excited, I tried to use this site a couple months ago only to find out the actually do need to talk to your doctor for approval.

Yep.this is the infamous place who sent many of us the mouse pads and all the other junk but no meds. They go by about 20 different names, but I always remember their phone ends in 5090 so that is how I know its them. And yep you're right they do need a script or a Dr.permission, they are basically like going to Wal-mart for your script, don't know why anyone would bother.Plus they charge a 19.95 monthly charge to buy from them!!! I had to close an acct. to keep them from charging it.These guys are a big time scam if you ask me.Just my own experience, take care all, wren

I've emailed them a couple of times asking if they had COD. Each time I got what seemed like an auto response (because it was so quick) and the email was empty. Go Figure!

Frontier has great prices and very hard to come by products. They do require a prescription but provide you with an alternate option at the medical questionier phase:
"I agree to allow my Primary Care Physician to be contacted to verify this prescription. By choosing, 'If I do not agree,' I understand that I will be contacted to receive information on an in-home consultation with a traveling physician at your (the customer) expense."
Has anyone ever opted to have an in-home consult with "a traveling" doctor and then received a needed script?

Hummm...I'm also wondering if anyone has had experience recently with these guys, especially if we do not provide our own docs contact info...I too have emailed them a few times only to receive a blank auto response in return. Thanks for your feedback.

Don't waste your time with this place, you guys. I tried them a long time ago. They charged me $19.95 and I got a bottle of multivitamins. No hydro. They HAVE to get approval for your prescription from your PCP, which is a joke and a scam, IMO. What doctor is going to do that??? Think about it. My doctor won't prescribe hydro for me, period. But all of a sudden, he's going to change his mind when he gets a fax or call from them, asking him to ok a script? (not to mention, he's not seeing me in person and collecting his fee). Yeah, right! NO doctor would be willing to do that. And this OP knows that.
When you sign up and order, you become a member of their prescription club. They'll bill your CC monthly for $19.95. I didn't know this until I saw the charge on my statement. So they got $39.90 out of me for nothing....unless you count the little bottle of off-brand vitamins...
I don't know anything about the port-a-medic. I might consider it IF it didn't cost too much and I was guaranteed my script would be approved. Their prices really are good.

has anyone tried this OP? They do not require medical records but I was wondering if they contact your doctor? Are they reliable? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
