Customs is now part of the Department of Homeland Security. Therefore, the first letter below is now printed on Dept. Homeland Security Stationery and has three more pages, parts of which one can return depending if the recipient wants to challenge the forfeiture in court or have the property foreited immediately.

It could be inferred that the other letters are also on Homeland Security Stationery or from the FDA in certain circumstances.

"What should you do if you receive a letter from Customs"
Trash it, its just a "love letter" from them telling you they seized you're meds. If its controlled than its illegal to import in and I would assume challenging the seizure would result in admitting guilt.
Now if it was allergy meds or something like that that got seized then I guess you could challenge it.
Most likely you get a second letter month later if you don't challenge it saying that the meds/articles have been forfeited.

There are anectdotal instances chronicled on this board regarding members who received numerous "love letters", and were subsequently visited/arrested by the DEA. I don't believe that the veracity of these postings were ever verified.

Do they keep a black list of addresses once you get a love letter?
My friend recently got his first one, and he doesnt want any feds knocking on his door, yet he cant afford a doctors visit and prescription prices. How many letters are considered dangerous? would getting a P.O. box help him?

Admin! That first letter you posted had me laughing for a full minute! There were only like 6 or 8 typos in it. Not sure how real that one was.

What I have received is entirely different, But I think They are printed in Cebu City!
