Seizure letter from customs received ... 11/22/04
My first order from an IOP and it gets freakin' seized by customs! What kind of luck is that? Is this more common than I thought?

TailSpin that really SUX ! But the good news is if you will send a copy of that love letter from Customs to P88, they will submit it to the participating pharmacy that sent your order and you may just get a reship! Email them first and tell them what happened and ask where and how they want the letter sent! And No,, seizures are not really that common! Generally about 1% of all orders get seized but it has been worse lately than usual! GoodLuck! BandAgin
BTW TailSpin and Others that have a seizure, could you post what state you are in for reference concerning which locations are getting higher rates of seizures Please? Thanks!

Good idea. I think it would also help others to get an idea of how long the shipment will take. I'm in Missouri.

I did as you suggested and they said they would work on securing a replacement. They also said, "You may also email us the alternate address to where you would
like the replacement shipped."
I don't really have an alternate address I can use. Am I going to be at more risk using my own address?

just as a reference a PO box is not that long to set up. however, if i was selecting at random, a PO box would more suspicious than a residence.

TailSpin, the chances of getting the replacement order seized is highly unlikely even if going to the same address! However P88 may feel more comfortable sending to alt addy! Do you have a trusted friend you can use their address? You could get a PO box but I personally don't think it is necessary! If the 2nd one gets seized I would suspect Missouri of becoming one of the "Hard" states to get certain packages into! I hate to say it but I am noticing the seizure rate is steadily climbing all over! But, some states do seem to be less likely to have orders seized at the moment! Is it because more people are ordering or is Customs getting more sophiticated means of detection ? I just don't know yet! Not enuf data to determine ! The more people post the state where a seized pkg was headed the more we can be on the lookout! SEIZURES SUK! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED IT IS STEALING!!! Some day we are all gonna have to file a class action lawsuit claiming our civil rights are being violated with regard to this whole Med ordering scene! It will be the only way to finally make it a national issue and bring it to the forefront! I am sure there are enough people who have had their pkgs seized and who order meds period that the number itself would be a wake-up call to the Govt! Once it made its way to the Supreme court it is gonna be awful hard for them to justify our not being able to decide for ourselves what we puit into our bodies! The fact is, We all have the right to Pursue Life, Liberty and Happiness (and what we do with our bodies)as guaranteed by our Constitution! I keep on saying this and I do not mean to insult or imply anything but The issue was settled when they passed Roe Vs. Wade allowing a Women to decide for herself whether she has an abortion or not! Now whether you agree with abortion or not makes no diff! What this court case implied in the broader sense is that the Gov can't tell us what to do with our BODIES!! If it is true for a Woman then it is true for all because they can not discriminate!This should also be the issue that should be used by the Pro Marijuana groups because of the implications of the rights to our own bodies! I'm totally with you, dude. I would be willing to wager money that the Customs people that stole my valium are eating it right now laughing at these posts on this message board.
God, that p1ssed me off.
In any event, I got back in touch with P88 and they said it didn't really matter if I wanted it sent to the same address as the last package. They asked for a copy of the charming little letter Customs sent me and that's that.
Here's hoping the next package slips through the border.
I'm really impressed with P88 though. It's just like ordering from an OP in the States, except it takes a bit longer (and of course that issue where our government actually believes it has a right to tell me what I can put in my body so it can go ahead and steal my property).
Oh and another thing... someone on another thread said they had a sentence in their seizure letter about prosecution. Mine contained that sentence as well, at the very end:
"Please note that future attempts to import controlled substances may result in personal penalties or criminal prosecution."
Yeah, blow me.

YES, those bastards and STUPID custom people are focusing on a few pills of valium, while the real BIG dealer introduces tons of cocaine into the country peacefully.
The customs are really stupid, they should spend their time on doing sometime wiser and getting the real criminals, the MAFIA. While the customs focuses on small packages containing a few pills for a sick person, the criminal are doing their job in peace, and the MAFIA's drug will end up in the streets and kill our kids!
Our body belongs to us only and not to the government!
There are no laws stating that having a knife at home is a crime, but I am able to harm myself or someone else with a knife.
I don't understand, in the USA you can buy a gun/riffle like a fizzy soda, but you cannot buy a medicine to relieve your pains!
I feel sorry for you Tailspin for your first negative order experience! Don't give up! And YES, everybody should complain in order to have your rights applied!

Do you really think its only the MAFIA importing drugs into this country? I would wager even more that "big brother" is the largest buyer/seller/importer of narcotics! To me that would be more believable, since they are ALWAYS wil be a "War on Drugs" what better way to continue the war than to keep importing the drugs, get people hooked, then arrest them so the cops look good, everyone gets promoted and hell, all the sudden they enough money to buy even more drugs to continue the cycle (I think I'm not too far off?) I am out of breath can someone pick up here for me, this sends my B.P through the roof.

Oh &%$#!! ordered about 1 week ago,
received 1st of 2 shipments today.
Envelope sliced open, inside had been stamped by Australian Customs, no letter. The bag of pills was opened but they left them in there (thankyou God!!!). Resealed envelope with sticky tape.
This is the 1st time Ive had any discrete packaging intercepted by customs. I dont hold out much hope for the 2nd part of my order or any further orders from IOPs after this development.
.... sigh .... it sucks

2nd part of order didnt turn up by today so Im assuming it's seized. The 1st order was different to the way packages arrive after inspecting by customs. There was just a big round brown stamp - I could only read a bit of it that said 'Australian Customs May Be ...' the tape used to reseal the envelope wasnt transparent tape but cheap dark brownish wide tape that we get here. Ive always had that official customs tape on things before.
Just getting paranoid maybe due to the suspicions a lot of those getting unusual seizures in the USA are having perhaps.
Hope not.
