I am curious of what time FedEx updates their site. Mine shows the last update at 3:59 p.m.. Somewhere I read that it is at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Is this correct. Thanks for everyones help.

It varies, I don't think they have a "certain time" they update thier site. Alot of times they simply miss an "Arrival Scan" or the like or you may see a "Departure Scan" before the "Arrival scan" this was only becuase they were late scanning and the one scan got logged before the other. I think it is largely dependent on when the package is manually scanned. However I have seen a packge picked up by Fed-Ex at 6:00 (which theoretically would have been scanned at that time as well?) but not show as picked up on the web page or tracking system at all untill 10:00PM or later and some have reported never receiving any information from the tracking no. but yet it still got delivered? I hav never experienced that...I can say with Fed-Ex (SO FAR) after i get thier automatically generated email stating shipment, It has always been shipped that day; though may have had delays with the tracking but they have always come through in the end (Again SO FAR; Not trying to tempt fate;) ). I can't say the same for UPS!
I do know that after I get a delivery I track it, just curious, and after delivery it usually shows the delivery with 30 minutes of the actual delivery time.
Not sure if this helped you or not but thats about all I know, and likely as good as you'll get w/out hearing from a Fed-Ex agent themself...

I hope you're right about people getting packages even when the tracking # doesn't work, because I have a tracking # from NWW, but it doesn't work and my meds are supposed to be here tomorrow. I hope it does, otherwise I'll have to wait until Fri
I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I know fedex had a plane break down last nite in tampa . many overnight package's did'nt get delivered today. If you want to know your true tracking info. call 1-800-463-3339 And when the recording start's press zero and you'll get a live person with all your up to date tracking info

Thanks for the info _medial_1, it saved me a lot of worry!
I had no idea I could call so late and actually talk to someone. I called and they informed me that the original label had been printed incorrectly, so they had to print a new one with a new tracking # - so in short, my meds are on the way! Yea!!!

I had the same problem - FedEx delivered meds today that were due yesterday due to a mechanical breakdown - this was in Tampa, I believe. Very rare for FedEx to be late - I do konw I prefer them over UPS.

Fedex is the absolute worst. My package from medsmadesimple was supposed to arrive this past Saturday. never came. I then requested that it be delivered 1st overnight for monday morning. The woman I spoke to said "no problem" and apologized profusely. Well, it's monday AM now and it hasn't made it. I called a fedex rep and she said she have no way of telling me when it would arrive. How bloody hard is it to deliver a package.
I'm fuming at the moment. just have to vent.

oh man. 2 seconds after that last post I received a tracking update saying my package is "on FedEx vehicle for delivery." Those beautiful words. Fedex still stinks though.
