I talked to a doctor yesterday morning at 10:40 at YOD. He told me that a prescription would be called in to Woody's within an hour. I paid for Saturday delivery. It is now 5:40 pm and no UPS! I'm freaking out! I am going through withdrawals and can't stand this. So now I will have to go until at least MONDAY without my meds! What am I going to do??? What could have happened? thanks, juliah

I had a 2nd day air package was scheduled for last tuesday. I tracked all the way into the city i live near and it just stopped. I called UPS 2 days later when it never arrived and they couldnt say what happened and just apologized. Well I had wrote it off as lost or stolen then today i tracked it and it has just been scanned departing. So its rescheduled for delivery monday. That will mean it took 7 days for 2nd day air. UPS has been having alot of issues.

I haven't had any hydro since early this morning. I was supposed to have my shipment today. It's well past 7. No drugs. This really sucks.

I am really completely down now. I can't stand it. I am going to take some flexeril and pray it helps me sleep or something. Life really sucks when the supply runs dry. I don't even know who to be upset with...YOD, Woody's, UPS. I've been crying all day since the earlier meds wore off. The only thing that kept me going was just KNOWING UPS was coming.

If you have any benzos that will help.Your not going to die.You may wish you would.Hang in there maybe a friend will loan you a few hydros.I know it sucks been there done that.

Try & take a deep breath. I went through this last weekend. From the previous advice I have read- Take Robitussin DM or DMX if you can find it,(its extra strenght) cough syrup- it helps. Take Ultram, if you have it & valium or xanax. Also, I heard Benedryl may help. You should also drink 8+ bottles of water & you WILL pee alot. I got a BAD stomach ache after the first 12 hrs, but I never got the present from the 'other end' of the body, if you know what I mean! For the leg muscle soreness I took alot of hot showers and also deliberately made myself 'sweat'- but I was cold, too. Woke up at 12:30 or 1:00 in the AM all week- stayed awake, watched tv, drank coffee & then went to work. Total of 3 hrs. sleep per night. My family are out every nite or we got carryout- couldn't cook.I had to do this because I was not going to make it to my next refill. So I have now since then tapered. I wish you the best to get through this. I know anyone can do it if they have to. Never got any life threatening symptoms even though it might feel like it. :

I some states you can buy Novahistine DH its cough med with codeine,it is Class5 it is kept behind the counter and you have to sign for it.It will help big time. The big chains usually don't have it. The mom and pop type RX stores usually carry it. You need to find out if it legal in your state.

Thanks for all who wrote. I swear I feel like I'm going to die. I can pick up some ultram tomorrow. I only have flexeril in the house right now. I've taken 2 before and it didn't make me fall asleep. Maybe will go for 2 1/2. [censored] this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm so sorry this has happened to you. i wish i could offer words of wisdom, but everyone else has pretty much said what i would say. if i wasn't on the opposite side of the country and lived nearby i would do whatever i could to help. i can say that perhaps breathing exercises might help, taking a bath, trying to calm down and accept that there is nothing you can do tonight, w/d can really be tough, but i think the emotional side of things, freaking out just excaserbates (sorry for incrrect spelling)
the physical effects. i remember going through smething similar a few months back, but i wanted to detox and had benzos, which helped quite a bit. still, i lay in bed trying to concentrate on tv and hardly ate for a week. i lost a lt of weight and felt so dull, ugh, but those sypmtoms didnd't kick in for a few days as i tld you before. try to get your hands on whatever will help you sleep tonight, you may have weird dreams, but IMO sleeping is easier, when you can.
pm me again if you need to vent, i'll listen and not be judgemental, most folks here are the same way.

All of the above is good for w/d's. A few others to try. Exercise. Endorphins can help. DXM - OTC cough syrup. Benzos of any type. Small quantities of alcohol. Another opiod, short term, low dose of oxy or ultram. Nyquil. If so inclined, reach out to a higher power. Yes, Pray. Never heard anyone dying from it. hang in there.

I'm having hubby pick up ultram and darvocet this morning. Praying is a great idea (I was too busy cursing to realize I should be doing that, LOL). I don't have a tracking number or anything, so I don't know how to call UPS. I have the number for YOD and Woody's, but Woody's is closed on the weekends. Is there anyway I can reach UPS? I have to take a LOT of darvocet to get any relief from pain, I hate that, but it is better than this. Thanks for letting me vent here and all of the nice replies. I really do appreciate it. I'm going to go sit and pray while I wait for hubby to bring me a grande cappucino from Starbucks and ultram. Darvocet will be ready in an hour. Phew. I don't have any friends on pain meds, so can't borrow any. I actually gave all of my darvocet to my best friend who uses them from a chronic pain condition. She offered to bring me some, but she's got a really bad cold and I don't want her to suffer anymore. Otherwise, no one I know takes pain meds. Anyhow, I'm rambling. But THANK YOU to all. Go to the ER for pain they will usally perscribe 15-30 or more depending on case and how severe the pain until doctor visit or refill.
Future ref.
If two flexerils assuming a total of 10mg wont help whichi is pretty strong if you dont take on a daily level. I suggest melatonin 3 mg from GNC it helps restore cellular metabolism which opiates screw with also kava and valerian root can help the nerves.
As mentioned above most walgreens carry robitussin cough gels
which are 20 cap @ 15mg each.

Midwest, did you have to go to Canada to get their OTC codeine? Also, aren't you legally only allowed to bring 50 pills back with you? Years ago I used to bring the 8 milligram codeines back from Canada, but since 9/11 and the searches etc. at border crossings, I have not wanted to try it. It is not worth the trip to bring only 50 pills back. I used to get the bottle that had 250 pills, but I am afraid of doing this now. Have you gone there to purchase recently? You can't order them legally online can you?

I know how you are feeling. I freak out if I only have a couple of tabs left. Please try soma or the flexaril for sleep. I always have plenty of back-up just in case. I have a great GP who gives me anything I want if I go in and act like I know what I am talking about so I have valium, ambien, flex., xanax, soma, my husband's pain pills, elaville, and Tofronil PM. If you have to be up for work or for your family, try OTC STRONG diet pills. They will pick you up and get you through the day but they will not give you the sense of well being the tabs give you.
I ordered some tabs through RxPillMax last month and they sent me 60 no problem then this month I got them last Wednesday and they were 16 short. The package looked as if someone had been in it and when I go to the RxPillMax website, they are GONE so I don't know if it was them or United Parcel Service that shorted me. Good Luck
