I'm fairly new to all this. I ordered from them last Wednesday, my order was doctor approved, and shipped Thursday, UPS track shows it will arrive Monday. Sounds great BUT:

The site very clearly shows a price of $229 with free shipping and free consult yet my credit card was charged $289. I looked everywhere and can find no hidden 70$ fee.

How should I handle this?

Did they call you for a consult? You can always refuse delivery of the shipment and then dispute the cc charges by doing a chargeback. And were you able to contact them or are they just another one of the fast in fast out no records OP'S? Did they offer COD? Good luck either way. It's looking like any NROP delivering right now is better than nothing at all.

Sorry I should have been more specific. What I want to do is accept the delivery (i'm almost out). Then when I contact Sunset, if they refuse to refund the $60 or more likely just ignore me, will my credit card company take my side and charge back the 60$?

On the other hand, there was no phone call, no demand for medical records, and excellent turn around time. When you add in shipping and so forth $289 is not that bad. Maybe I should just accept the $289 and not rock the boat.

In my limited experience the sites that even accept credit cards seem to be around longer and the transaction goes smoother.

Bottom line, if I decide to get in a fight with them will it be worth it? Will my credit card company charge back the $60 and put the burden of proof on Sunset?

I figured it out. When you order Hydro, you're charged an extra Doctors Review fee for that type of medicine. It's well hidden and only discovered during the ordering process.

Thanks letitride, guess I'm screwed. Just out of curiosity where did you see it? I went back and went thru the whole ordering process again and still didn't see it.

He didn't actually put down how many in black and white until just now , but as tonyc473 has posted above, "$229 for #90 hydro aint too shabby" . And a quick check of the web site tells you that the only hydro for $229 is a 90-count 10/325.

Oh I see Barton has confirmed it, Barton ordered 90.

Considering this place seems to be a no-records, no-consult, free-shipping, last-of-a-dying-breed OP, adding 60 bucks for a not clearly stated "doctor review" is annoying but not very surprising. ( And we know there have recently been a number of NROPs out there who are charging almost as much for a #60 count!)

Please keep us updated as to if you actually get your order. The site looks pretty good, but I am a little gun shy at this point. The thing that sort of made me a little uncomfortable with the site was a lack of contact phone number. Good luck!

I believe I saw the extra fee on the history questions page. If you chose Hydro, then an extra set of questions popped up and somewhere in there was the note that an extra fee is charged for the Doctors review.

I see some strange pricing @ SunsetPainmeds
#30 10/325 $230
#60 10/325 $189
#90 10/325 $229

Is anyone going to order #30 )))

Actually I ordered qty 90 10/500 apap. APAP is on a different page.

It is the chemical name of Tylenol (acetaminophen)

Then why do some say 10/325 and some say 10/325 APAP when both have tylenol in them? The latter is generic tylenol?

I don't see any secure SSL connection on the page where they want your cc number. Am I missing something?
I would order here, as I have been stiffed by freeshipping.com and will soon be in a bad way, but I am not sending CC info over an insecure connection.

thoughts?

The latter is the tylenol and the 10 or 7.5, 5, 2.5 are the hydocodone bitartrate, if they leave the APAP off, you know what they are talking about. Just as they left off the 10mgs of hydrocodone bitartrate out.

It is the only way it is prescribed (unless you are lucky enough to find vicuprofin).

Hydrocodone alone is schedule II and almost never seen. Vicodin, Norco, Lortab, etc. etc., and all their generic equivelants contain a combination of hydro and APAP (short for Acetaminophen, the generic name of Tynenol).

So, 10/500 means 10 mg Hydro, and 500 mg of APAP. And so forth.

The insert with your prescription usually explains this as well....

No offence intended, but, I don't know about you, but I like to know exactly what I am putting into my body. I'd be a little scared if I didn't even know what was in the pills I was taking!

This is what I found while looking around. No, it does not state an exact price, but certainly leaves a loop hole to add additional costs:

23. I understand that this site US Licensed Physicians require that all pain, sleep, stress, anxiety, muscle relaxants and migraine headache medications include a doctor consultation fee and at the discretion of the physician, a physical examination.

Also found while I was poking around at SunsetPainMeds:

Vicoprofen 7.5mg/200mg 30 Pills FREE! $198.00
Vicoprofen 7.5mg/200mg 60 Pills FREE! $281.00
Vicoprofen 7.5mg/200mg 90 Pills FREE! $352.00

I wish it wasn't so much more expensive than the 10/325's!
Oh well...

Anyone else order with success from these guys???

i have ordered from them. they dont send an email confirming the order. and if you ask them to email you your ordernumber for tracking they dont send it . so make sure you write it down. they send free shipping so it takes like a few days. i thought i was ripped off i kept emailing them asking for tracking number, and they charged my card more then it said! well anyway like 4 dyas later i got the package and everything was fine so they are reliable just not the best with customer service.

My online statement says XPRESSRX 01 of 01

And NYcalt, no offense taken, I am very careful on what I take. I know the med is hydro and tylenol, just wasn't sure what the abreviation "apap" was.

And Eli, it does talk about the "doctor consult fee" but in other places it says "any consult will be free of charge"

They clearly set it up to sneak this 60$ past the customer, but since I have no records to provide $289 is acceptable.

I agree with you on all counts except I have yet to try this place due to this feedback. I want to make sure they don't charge whatever they feel like, for example.

I mean, when you look at hydo, it says, "Consult: FREE!" so this is more than a bit sleezy but as you said, as long as they deliver and it's $60 for all, there isn't much else right now....

I will wait until a few more people order and receive before I try this one. And I am often willing to try places unrecommended but I hate deceptive charges. It's not only sleezy but 100%, uneqivically illegal (yeah, I know, who's going to complain).
