Hi, I'm a new member and have been taking vicodin 5/500 for about a month. I just ordered norco 10/325's from Your Online Doctor and should receive them tomorrow. What kind of difference might I notice between the meds? It takes at least 3 vicodins to get any pain relief. I'm hoping to be able to take less of the norco's. Thanks, juliah

Well, the arithmetic is pretty straightforward. Norco 10/325 contains two times the amount of hydrocodone in Vicodin 5/500 (and 175 mg. less APAP, which wont have much impact on the analgesic effects but will spare your liver a little stress). So if you need three Vicodins, that's 15 mg. of hydrocodone. One and one half Norcos will give you that dosage. You may find that one Norco does the job, or you may find that you need two Norcos to compensate for the decreased APAP content in Norco. Either way, you should be able to use fewer Norcos (one, one and a half, or two Norcos versus three Vicodins). I hope that works out well for you.
Peace,
Jack
