COD ORDER THAT WASN'T????
      #196557 - 10/27/04 04:15 PM

I ordered ultram cod, it came today and fedex said oh, this isn't a cod package. It said cod in tiny letters and then it was blacked out with marker; there was no other cod info or airbill; I tried to give her the money order anyway but she said she couldn't take it cause it wasn't cod! What now? Is it my lucky day?

Oh, no, I think we will see a replay of another thread on this situation a couple of months ago. People were pretty concerned because the pharmacy screwed up and sent a package out that was supposed to be cod, and the person who recived the order said there was nothing on the package about it being cod so the driver was not in any trouble, but some members here were pretty worried for the pharmacy because they accidently sent out some free meds.

Good luck on this one.

Meowsie,

Sounds like a simple case of the pharmacy screwing up. I suppose there's a possibility they'll try to contact you...but...I seriously doubt they will. I wouldn't worry about it.

Today was your lucky day.

Well, if it were me, I'd make arrangements to pay for the product. It's just the right thing to do.

Yeah, I CAN blame the OPs. Just because people are paying doesn't make it okay.

Paranoia? Nothing to do with paranoia. It has something to do with being honest and paying for what you ordered. Just curious if you are a person of religious faith or not? Not really looking for an answer from you per se. I just wonder how people who sit in church, synagogue or mosque every week, justify taking advantage of a mistake like this and not paying. From what I have seen lately, I'd say there is a lot of hypocrites out there who wouldn't pay.

i hate all the controversy over this, I tried to pay, the fedex woman would not take my payment. You all know how hard it is to get in contact with a NROP when they make a mistake that screws you over, it should be just as hard when they make a mistake in your favor, for all the people who pay for meds and get shorted or never get them, one person gets them for free and everyone starts howling! I also didn't say I wasn't going to pay, I asked what to do, I was in this situation once before when I charged meds to my credit card and the charge NEVER appeared, this was years ago, I don't consider myself a dishonest person for making a serious attempt to pay for my meds and then it not happening, I didn't TRY to cheat anyone out of anything, I call it a lucky mistake, how many mistakes happen with op's and we suffer for them, karma is a b%$#@, that's why this happened LMAO j/k, but you all need to calm down, you find a $20 bill on the sidewalk with NO ONE around, what do you do, bring it to the nearest police station? What do you think they do with it, try to find it's owner? LMAO How is it considered dishonest when you tried to pay for it in the way arranged with the op? I'll tell you this, I had a nrop package that ups lost, I tried to contact the op to let them know, one that I didn't get my meds and two, that they wouldn't be getting their payment as it was a cod order; repeated emails to them and never one response, guess they didn't care nearly as much as I did, I'll make the attempt to contact this op but I am sure it will be more of the same and guess what, I'm glad, for all the times my meds didn't come and they didn't care, that's why you shouldn't have no customer service, I will stop rambling now and thanks to all those who supported me, I think you all realized that I was a lying cheat and MANY would do the exact same thing and people need to realize the difference, I'm glad y'all are so honest, really, but that doesn't make me any less honest, when you say try to make it right, what do you think insisting the fedex woman take the payment was, trying to steal?

I sure wouldn't try riding that gift horse back to the pharmacy to give them their money. Let them contact you as I'm sure they will once or if they figure out the problem.

Meowsie,
I would have to agree that you should do exactly what feels right to you. NO ONE has the right to judge you. It isn't as if you pushed the fedex lady down and ran away with your meds...you tried to pay and there was a mistake. Contact them, don't contact them...I would say it is entirely your call and your call only. I can assure you that they aren't going down the tubes due to one mistaken missed payment (and not your mistake at that). Maybe you got the order that was free because it was all the 1-2 pills that get pinched out of so many orders...JK but you get what I am saying. I am sorry you have felt that your integrity was questioned...you didn't make the mistake, someone else did. These kinds of mistakes happen all the time, the difference is that WE are usually the ones out the money/time/medication. You attempted to pay and she COULDN'T take your money due to FedEx policy. I am guessing that just like all the rest of the emails that are sent, yours won't be addressed either.
Best of luck and yes, perhaps because you are the good person that you are, the universe saw fit to reward you.

P:)

I posted a story a while back about something similar. I had a duplicate order sent with my monthly order with sky when they were around. They had the same tracking # so my ups guy gave both of them to me for the one money order. He said that it may come back that I would have to pay for the extra one and I assured him I would pay if it ever came to light. I tried to contact sky about it but , of course, that was impossable. I agree that zero customer service can hurt both parties. If they answered phones or emails then perhaps this matter could have been rectified. But because they choose to ignore clients then when something like this happens, they have little recourse. It was THE OP'S MISTAKE! The origional poster did all he could to make this right but it is obvious to me that he/she was ignored. If they paid even a a little attention to their clients then maybe they would have there money. But, they didn't. It just seems to me that it was an oversight on the part of the op. If they contact you then yes, pay them. If they are just pumping out pills to whomever wants them and don't even take the time to pay attention then I say......tough titty little kitty.
The poster did the right thing. It shouldn't be up to him/her to chase down a company.

tough titty little kitty......lol i like it. and yes i agree let them get ahold of you, they have all your contact info anyway. as for karma there is good and bad. So maybe it's for all the good you've done and all the overcharging, lost packages, and shortages they've done......lol Anyway i say congrats! and if you do try to contact them i'll give a little prayer that things go as usual and you can't get through....teehee
