I have been taking aproximately 2 mg of xanax a day and am looking to take ultracet for my back, its not prescribed, but its all i have for the moment to help with pain. Is it ok if i take them together? Should i be careful about Ultracet? Ive never taken it before.
I'd read the warnings on both packs (if possible) and use www.google.com to get a broad range of information. Hopefully one of the educated members here can post a URL or something for you.
Tramadol interacts differently with everyone. I know that I can take it with most other medications but it's probably not a good idea to mix with benzos i.e.xanax, valium etc... Tramadol has it's peak after about 2 hours so if you were going to take a xanax I would probably take it at least another hour after the tramadol peaks. So 3 hours later. Be careful!!! First see how the ultracet works with you.
