Hi - Just a quick post, we've gotten alot of inquiries and maybe I didn't explain the "Wednesday Special" clearly....
Ok, every 5th person to request a consult on Wednesdays receives a half price consultation... $60.00 consultation fee and 3 refills on medications!! This special is every Wednesday, all day throughout the month of November.
Otherwise, all VIP members still receive the $30.00 off **TPoffer30** and 3 refills.

Business 101: How to upset 4 out of every 5 customers
Okay class-here's what we want you to do. Report back in a month with your results. That way you'll know what not to do when you get out in the real world.
Run a contest, but only run it 1 day out of the week-that way, people will wait up to 6 day's to have a chance at winning.By then, they are going to really hope that it was worth the wait. Offer a discount to every 5th customer-thus guaranteeing that 4 out of 5 customer's will be angry that they did not "win". Then, make the "contest" totally unverifiable! Even though they will be upset, they will have no way of knowing what # they really were, or that every 5th customer was even GIVEN the discount!!! In no time at all 8 out of every 10 customer's will feel like they got ripped off!
Now, 3 refills is a great promotion-kudo's on that one! And, thanks for posting the discount code-another great idea. However, is it OK if I don't wait until next Wed? I need a consult ASAP!

Thanks for your opinion eelrm but let me also give you some information from our side.
First, for the last 2 months we have been running a weekly contest to give away a FREE consultation ~ about 95% is verifiable because the receiptiants were kind enough to post they won ~ hopefully the same will be true of Wednesdays contest.
Also, if you will look through the information posted about the special, DB members still get their regular $30.00 discount at all times so ~ $90.00 for the consultation with 3 refills, how is that being ripped off? Additionally, why would we not give the additional discount when we are also aiming for patients to give us a try and could build a long term returning patient relationship. If we make someone happy they'll come back.
Most obviously, the reasoning behind the Wednesday special is because Wednesdays are our slowest day of the week. We have very heavy scheduling right before and after the weekend and this is a way to try to even the week out a little. Many people are not needing to wait until a very last minute rush to receive a consultation so they can plan for a Wednesday.
We are offering good incentives anyday of the week ~ $30.00 off the consult fee, 3 refills, Wednesdays Contest and Fridays Contest ~ So, really to wait for Wednesday is not a necessity, it's an addition.
Lastly, we heard from NO angry patients, patients have been happy with our service beyond the additional incentives! Not sure about the "real world" comment... but here's hoping you have a better day today.

had consult last thursday and recieved 2 meds with 3 refills on both recieved meds right at 24 hours of faxing paper work, will try to do next consult on wednesday if i can i can if i can't i can't
