Required records for NWW vs. YOD
      #197315 - 10/31/04 08:07 AM

hey y'all,
i was just thinking about switching over to YOD because they're a little cheaper and it looks like they give you the extra refill. I'm using NWW right now, and I'm just wondering if the medical documentation required at NWW will be sufficient for YOD. Anyone who has any experience with these OPs please respond, you can PM me too.

I don't know what your records are like, but a friend of mine had pretty scant records - a single page noting that he had neck pain and dextroscoliosis, and that was sufficient.

I, on the other hand, had 40 pages of records that didn't include a clear diagnosis, just - "Chronic left flank pain," and that was sufficient too.

I would guess that you'd be fine-

You're making a wise choice by switching to YOD. They are a wonderful OP that has so much better feedback on the boards and much less drama going on than NWW. They've (NWW) has become more of a cult like following rather than a health care operation that exists for the benefit or betterment of mankind.

YOD all the way. Make sure your records are dated within a year's time and you should be okay.

Neon,

you crack me up. NWW and YOD both require records. I used YOD before NWW. YOD does not have a forum. I have made great friends over at NWW. The forum links us together for support and provides access to the NWW team for CS.

Neon, I was thinking about buying some Koi for my pond. They are very friendly too.

I have to agree that a forum is great for the company, and is what makes NWW so successful.

i read about nww's problems awhile back when they switched pharm's, but ive been with them for awhile and its been flawless, and i really like having a forum for cs issues, i had a question 1 time and it was answered same day, i see some people still talking about all the problems there but from my dealings so far, all has been great. but i checked into yod when i was trying to decide wich to go with and they seem very good as well.

Yes the fourm of NWW serves more then just one purpose!
We not only can ask questions of NWW staff and get an answer, we also can find support from other NWW members about common problems. While I tend not to speak alot publically about my medical/mental conditions, I have learned a lot just by reading other peoples post. One thing is sure, NWW showed a lot of guts by starting a public forum! There are darn few compaines that whould allow the public to see what is going on behind the scenes of their company. NWW lets you see it all! the good as well as the problems that are/do exist with any large business. The forum is also another reason why I choose to use NWW. I have never had a problem that was not corrected really fast and have always been treated in a respectful way! I cannot begin to give Stephaine the credit she is due! All NWW CS people are willing to help you! How many businesses do you see the CEO step right in and offer to help people out like Chris does??? Laura has a hard job also, She must make sure CS issues remain the primary goal of NWW, without upsetting people whos post she must close.
( like mine lol ) people do business with a company for a lot of different reasons. For instance, I will/have not spent $100.00 dollars at Wal Mart because I think they exploit their workers as well as engage in over seas slavery. I hate theit #$@#$$@ guts! They are dog sh*t as far as I am concerned. I got off track! let me end by saying we are lucky to have NWW and we are lucky they have chosen to put up a forum, that is a big help in countless ways for people who have no other place to go to seek the services their "quality of life" depends on, plus, a board open to the public where they KNOW other people really care about them.............Time to get ready for work.>>>>>NEON
