Hi everyone,
Two things:
1) All free members receive a $10 discount off your consultation with Youronlinedoctor:
Code MUST be put in the Code box at the top of the billing and shipping form. It clearly states, discount code here, not exceptions.
The code for the $10 off is: DBFREEX10
also, please read concerning Friday same days:
Hi Everyone,
Friday is upon us: Please remember, we do MANY same day consults ( mostly repeat patients, some new) as long as you have your forms to us NO later than 2:00 we can almost always get the consult done.
Please do not fax at 3:30 and expect a same day consult as most of the time, it cannot happen because we close the computers down around 3:50 - 4:00 on Fridays for the weekend until Sunday afternoon and it will be too late to get everything processed and to the pharmacies.
Sometimes you may be lucky and get it taken care of but, the earlier the better chance you have of getting in on Fridays. We will do our best!!
Once again, have a great weekend, and we will be back to answer your e-mails and schedule for Monday appointments later on Sunday afternoon!!!

Well, I finally took the plunge with a n O.P. and faxed my records and made an appointment for a cosult tomorrow morning. I am a bit nervous, as I have never had a live phone consult and I do not know what to expect. Also, I hope I picked a good Dr. service to use.I will let everyone know how it turned out and thanks for listening.-Opie

Hi Opie,
How did your consult turn out? I remember my 1st consult, which was with YOD, and it turned out to be relatively painless. I was really nervous! I had been so used to being afraid to ask for pain meds I so desperately needed. Talking to the YOD doc was like a breath of fresh air. Hope everything went well for you...I have a feeling it did.

Do not worry. As long as you have your records in order, fill out the patient information form honestly, and fax all that in, there should be no problems. I too was nervous about my first consult with YOD, but I had one just this Monday and it went great - almost effortless. Their customer service rep (Kathy) is terrific. Reach out to her if you have any questions. They are a professional outfit and will do their best to help you. Good Luck!

I see my neurologist on Tuesday and plan on asking for records. What do I ask for? Is it just a copy of that visit (my entire file is like a small phonebook!)? What if they don't have the fact that I have problems? Sometimes an office visit (for me) is rather routine i.e. I had a good week or two and don't complain about much. So do I make sure that I talk to my doc about everything that's in my recent history so he/she writes it down as a recent complaint?
These seem like stupid questions but I really don't know.
Thanks for any/all help!

Eli, you could fax your most recent physical, but make sure other records show your complaint, that you have seen the doctor for the specific complaint. You can choose which of your records show that the best. If you can get the doctor to record all of that in your next visit, that would be great, but I don't think it would be essential. The most recent record showing your problem would probably be the one to choose. My records were not extensive like yours so there wasn't much to choose on my part. I faxed the whole thing, but that was only about 4 pages.
Good Luck.

A great experience with YOD. Consultation was very quick and painless, with a sympathetic doc. I was prescribed #120 10/500 with 3 refills. Had meds the next day with $20 off from bi-wise. Thanks for getting me back to work!!
