From time to time, I've seen little debates pop up on drugbuyers about, for instance, Watson hydrocodone being stronger than the same dose of, say, Mallinckrodt hydrocodone. Or vice-verca. The first time I encountered one of these debates, I just assumed that people were in denial about their building tolerances. I also assume that identical drugs of the same dose should have the same efficacy (as long as they're not expired), no matter what drug company manufactured them.
I recently read something about the fact that because watson's hydrocodone are softer than other brands (which I've definitely noticed) that they are absorbed faster. Well...whatever the case, I'm just curious if any drugbuyers members can shed some light on this issue, or if it really is just subjective.
Compression of the pill can make a difference in absorption in the stomach, in speed it's released, and if it gets passed before it gets into the blood system, will affect the level of the meds in the blood.
