Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, I'm new to this board.
I want to start using a record op for pain meds due to the cost, legal concerns. I work in the medical field and know most of the MDs in my town. I'd rather not have it in my medical file that I have to take Hydro for pain. I don't want my insurance company to know that I have back problems, and I don't want my employer to discrminate against me for it. But..If I have o pee in a bottle, I want a legal RX for the pain meds.
Still, It would be easy to go to a Chiro in another town, pay cash and get the records I need to use a record O.P.
IF.. they accept a Chiropractor's physical as a medical record.
Who do you guys reccomend?
Cascadia, you pretty much summed up the total absurdity of our current medical/legal system. Our doctors, whom we pay, won't give us pain meds, we don't want the insurance companies we pay to know we have pain, and we don't want our employers, who would not be in business without us, to know we take anything for the pain we suffer from. Is this ridiculous, or what?
To answer your question, I used chiro records with YourOnLineDoctor. They are a top-notch company, and I use Bi-Wise Pharmacy, top-notch as well.
I have used chiro records at NWW. b4 obtaining my other records .
