Anyone notice lately that the Dan,Soma's are not what
they use to be?
#1 They look a little thickerand a slightly raised edge around the pill.
#2 You don't even get the same effect off of 2 or 3 tablets you know that slurring and eurphoric effect, that has you talking alot and feeling great, when when mixed with narcotics.
I called Watson and they say to send in the pill and even mailed me return envolope.Alot of good it would do me.
Some of my friend say the same thing they even tried taking 10 tabs---nothing.Whats up with this at least when it came to somas you could count on the Dan's to get you thru the day with no spasms forget about the rest the generics they are placebo's.I now have to resort to brand name too bad health insurance$560-120 tabs, meanwhile in Canada it cost $30 for Brand name what a sham here in good old USA.

I noticed a pretty fast tolerance effect when I started taking the Watson "DAN5513's" a few months back - faster than hydro it seemed. Perhaps you are experiencing the same thing. thoughts?

If you are taking that many pills at a time you are way past tolerance IMO. Soma is a muscle reelaxer that is supposed to be taken 1 pill 3-4 times a day. It doesn't matter what brand you get if you take them the right way. Again this the way they are medically prescribed everyone I know including me and this is JMO. But taking 10 at time is a risk no one should take.

I highly agree with Your Opinion. The user that mentioned a person taking 10 at a time. These (SOMA) are "muscle relaxers", don't ever forget what your HEART is, a muscle! That is really taking a risk fooling with this type drug in those amounts. Please tell them be careful as heart failure could occur. Joanne

That's very considerate of you, but the heart works on its own. Soma turns to mebrobamate, also known as Miltown, in the body, and 350mg Soma * 8 = 2800mg of Miltown, which is within the therapeutic dose range of Miltown. It's not healthy, but tolerance builds so fast to Soma that it's hardly unheard of.
Anyway, the 2800mg number - well, THAT'S assuming that 100% of Soma is turned to Miltown, which isn't true.
If you want strong Soma, go with the IOP www.globalrxservice.com. 100 Wallace Soma are $39.99, and since the company is unique in that it sells no controlled medications, just heart stuff, cholesterol stuff, etc., there are no problems with Customs.
Wallace is better than Watson because Wallace is also the company that makes brand name Soma. It's common for the same company to make brand name and generic. If that weren't enough, I've taken Watson Soma back in the day and they didn't do it for me like the Wallace Soma do. So if you can stomach the horrors of ordering from a legit IOP that takes credit cards and gets through Customs without a hitch to your door in 7-10 days, I'd make a test order and see what you think.

This is absolutely true. http://www.biopsychiatry.com/meprobamate/index.html
It isn't so much stomaching the horror as it is having on hand a sufficient supply of something else to ease the tension while the package crosses customs.
I have in the past received letters from customs about things being held up - I shrug and write it off as a loss, as a general rule. Probably not the most "American" thing to do (which would be to fight for what is mine, I would like to think), but perhaps the safest, on a personal level.
I avoid IOPs - if they could ship COD I would be more inclined to do business with them, but since that doesn't work for a host of reasons (people not paying international shipping rates and the resulting returns, for instance) I pay the over-priced USA charges.
The cost of cowardice - I know it well. It is usually about 3x, if not more.

Another very dependable place to get soma is pharmaathome, formerly gigapharma. 40 350mg for $20.
They work very well. Though I rarely take more than 1-2 a day, skipping some days when not needed. Tolerance does build up as others metioned, if you take a lot.

But that is another IOP - again, cheap, but potentially long wait times and customs issues.

Well, it was merely a friendly suggestion. I've ordered from them 4-5 times and haven't had any problems. Orders usually arrive in around 6-8 days. Others who've ordered from them recently also are having short wait times.

Just got an email yesterday from the OP I use to order tramadol that they now carry soma. They have Watsons #90 count for $85. If you order early enough, they ship overnight same day. It's US, so no customs, no wait. www.netrxforless.com

VERY cool. Watsons are top of the list. To me, Watsons and the McCoy are like a Mercedes versus a BMW. There are certainly people who know the differences well and have a strong preference, but to me either one rolls with the best of them.

Soma is a strange drug, I have been prescribed it 20 plus 2 refills for ten years. Why they just do not give me 60 is beyond me. I had a stomach bleed from NSAIDS about 10 years ago.I have chronic pain. So I get Soma and T-3s,My doc is scared of hydrocodone. He says its not that bad but it has a bad rep. The Soma and T-3 work very well but sometimes togeather they really put me out there. I am carefull not to drive, and work on them. Some times soma on an empty stomach can really get you. I have found tolerence is an issue with both drugs.I have had all differnt brands of Soma. The only difference I find is duration of pain killing. The ones that hit you fast do not last, the others take their time and last longer.Just my experience, everyones got a differnt make up.

I have had reconstruction surgery where they removed muscle from one part of my body to fix the other. Over 24 years the muscle has grown and causes me bad cramps. This is the reason I use Soma. TONE.

Is that what those initials are? I swore I read they were either "Mutual Pharmaceuticals" or "Major Pharmaceuticals" I couldn't remember the name. Maybe it was Midwest?
