Third world countries more liberal with pain meds?

First, this is not to insult those that come from a third world counbtry or have decendants from one.

But I thave thought that countries that are considered poor compared to this one would have pharmacists, doctors and governemtn less willing to interefer with getting pain meds and other needed medications.

Of course, some of these countries are the ones where a lot of the ingrediants are grown for pain meds as well as illegal drugs. A lot of these countries are pressured by the US to start enforcing drug laws and that means a crack down on that county's doctors. Sort of like the DEA is telling county X to shape up or lose aid.

Anyone that has gone to a third world country and their experiences with doctors prescribing legitimate pain medications?

Does it hurt to be a foreignor in their country?

I have been to countries, not necessarily third world country, where you can just walk in to a pharmacy and purchase whatever you like.

Wow....what country is that? I have been to Holland...Belgium...France...England....Itlay....and Germany..nothing where I saw you could walk into a pharm and purchase percocet over counter
