No, the full generic name of hydrocodone is hydrocodone bitartrate, just like the full name of codeine is codeine phosphate or codeine sulfate, the full name of meperidine (Demerol) is meperidine hydrochloride, etc. It's a matter of concern only to chemists, of which I ain't one. But all the hydrocodone you have ever taken has always been hydrocodone bitartrate.
Peace,
Jack

Let me be clearer on the subject. Same meds in your yellow pill, just sold under another name.

You just got another Generic Norco (hydro 10/325)made by
Mallinckrodt, M367
Some people don't like them as well Watson Brand, There is also another generic brand by Abble labs of the 10/325 Norco Hydrocodone A328 markings, all being the same drug, just different brand names.
