Another drug test question!!

Hi all,
I am going to see my new dr for the 2nd time 2morrow. He prescribed me Avinza and morphine for breakthru pain,but it just wasnt enuff. I have been taking hydro's(maybe 2 a day) in addition to what he prescribed.They work BETTER than the morphine pills!! I will be having a drug test when I go in. Is there any way they can test specifically for hydro?? Or will it just come up ositive for opiods??
I need to know,because I do NOT want to lose this dr-he is THE most compassionate dr I have ever met in my life
I am hoping he changes my dosage 2morrow,so I can bee free of this stupid hydro once and for all.

Lisa, my doctor is very, very understanding. He and I have tried everything, and I mean everything, ie different meds for pain control. Surprisingly, morphine did not help as well as hydro. I don't know if I am correct, but Morphine I would think is stronger than hydro. I was taking 20 mg for breakthru and ER tabs, but nowhere near as helpful as hydro. I asked my doctor if Lortab made an ER pill, but unfortunately they don't. That would be a wonderful thing, since they work so well, but they wear off after a few hour.
