wow that stinks. I was in a band spot b4 and worked at a call center for 7 months: they were all thugs and scum. Police were in the call center arresting ppl daily for unrelated things. but they woudl say/do anything to make a sell. I was a floor manager and didnt have to call ppl. I cant do that Best if kept off the board. I quit as soon as I got things straightened up with my business-partner (dad) lol which if any of you work with family or ever have worked with family, soemtimes it's just easier to go work at a call center for 7 months lol

Just a little tip for you folks...if you cannot get the number and cannot make 'em quit calling...do this...simply start hitting the # sign as many and as fast as you can before....you hang up. Try that one..sports fans! 7-20 times should do it,fast!...I think...
Limper
...and you can aways just do the OBVIOUS...just say..."yeah,hang on a minute..please"...and let 'em hang on....see what happens!!! HAA!!! What in the hell do you THINK will happen?..HAA!!!! Try that..it works everytime!!!

Yes,

I got the call as well. I had the number on my callerID and I called them back. Got a company called ExpressRX. It sounded like a professional operation, but that does not mean anything. I have a feeling some people hacked into another op and stole the customer lists.

Some of the sites out there are easy to hack. On the customer info pages you can change the customer # in the URL and see somebody elses customer information. You can also do this on the order summary pages and see others orders. This is a result of companies not using secure web software. I know this because I do programming and am familiar with the out of the box web solutions that some of these ops use.

One piece of advice, if you see your order number or customer information in the URL you are probably not using a secure site.. go somewhere else.

just to clarify even if she had offered them for 50 cents for 1000 we wouldnt have ordered any. just wnated to mess with them for a minute

Well, they're getting pretty sneaky w/me at least. I DO NOT answer the phone unless I know who it is. Especially if it is an 800 number. Yesterday, I got a number that was MY area code, then 888-0446. When I picked up the phone there were people talking in the background and then this guy comes on & says, "Oh, oh, I'm from Express pharmacy, yada, yada..." I said, "Wrong number" and hung up. They had the nerve to call back this AM. This time my 11 yo son answered and they hung up. I knew it was them because I looked on my calls log. I am worried because this happened a few months ago & I specifically told them NO (except this time they were calling themselves on-line pharmacy) & I got a charge on my CC anyway. I quickly got that taken off but wth? am I going to do if they continue to charge me. I don't want to get into this w/my CC company AGAIN.

I got a few calls too. The 206-888-0446 # on the caller ID, it said "WASHINGTON", which is the state the area code is in. You can get throw away cell phones and just have them code different call back numbers, or several other ways to disguise your location as Penny indicated when she looked into the NC calling card people. This one claims to be "Express Pharmacy Direct" BTW.

I had a 1-000-000-0000 call also a few days back also pushing drugs on me at these insane street prices, but it was a different operation.

They seem to first try to push expensive narcotic pain meds. I was offered Vicodin for $5.99 a pill for 1-100 pills and told "we'll go to $4.99 a pill if you order more than 100". No way, not even for a penny a pill from these con artists. These people are scum.

After researching it a bit, the people who owned RX Direct and ALLUSAScripts / TropicalRX are the ones who have been selling their lists. Even if you registered and never ordered from them or their sisters when they died back in March. They did the same thing with their list a few months back also and it seems as though they sold the list to a few different operations this time. OR it is RX Direct calling and just saying that they bought the lists from RX Direct (which is what I was told by one of the people). OR it could be LE, but I would hope they have better things to do than harrass people over the phone with unsolicited offers, so I seriously doubt it is LE.

FOLKS: Please post any new numbers that pop up on your caller ID that these guys are using so we can all screen them out.

Just to let you all know, I too received the same phone call. I used Tropical about a year ago. Been with NWW since then.
This place has called 3 times already. I am starting to get pissed and I will be more so if they charge me. Btw their site is xpress-rx.com check out the prices not to mention they offer 160 pills? I thought that was illegal?
Obviously I refuse to use them but short of turning them into the authoritys which then in turns screws all the legal Op's, what can we do. I do plan on switching my number and going unlisted. ( was going to anyways) I already had to switch my CC's as 6 months ago, I was called from some place called Online Pharmacy , about 6 times. Then 3 months later I received a package from them! I never even ordered, nor could I find how they charged me. My huby signed for package else I would have refused.
All this Best if kept off the board makes me nervous, big red flas everywhere.
Just be careful and all the advice given has been good, hang up or put phone down and say " Be right Back". I actually will starting drilling them with questions, never admitting to anything but they get real uncomfortable and finally hang up on me. hehe I am a bartender and I can come up with the biggest BS if I want, guess there is something good about being a lifelong bartender =p
Btw the number I was given was for Online Payment Solutions when I asked for a direct number. I think I will head over to NWW and see if Chris and his team will look into this.
Something is very wrong here with this place

yeah I always drill them. I'll ask them personal questions, questions bout the operation, anyhting. They'll eventualy hang up when I ask to speak to their boss. as stated before I used to work in TELEMARKETING unfortunately. by law if you ask to speak to their boss they have to put them on the phone. SO they're just so openly illegal.

Bathil, I thought I was the only one that was charged by these fools that called themselves "On-line pharmacy." I was lucky enough to get the charges taken off my CC and of course I never rec'd a package. Being a total dummy though, I had previously fallen for the phone scam thing but that was months prior. I was charged $146 by some wierd sounding place. Hummusinternational or some such odd name but they had identified themselves on the phone as "On-line pharmacy" when they called. Since I never rec'd a thing the first time, I just said NO & hung up the second time they called & tried to con me & yet I was still charged. Infuriating. Now I don't even answer the phone but the rotten thing is that my son is being recruited by colleges so we may have missed some important calls. Fie on these phony scam artists!

The last two mornings i've had calls around 9:00 central time(the batteries were down on the caller I.D.)so I have no idea of the originating # but both callers asked if I wanted to renew my script for vicodin even though we had never ordered hydrocodone from an OP or IOP...The last order we make from an op was on Nov. 11 right before midnight from rx1stop...please do not jump to any conclusions from these preasent unrelated actions

It looks like Allusa has sold-out their entire DB to the entire world now. They have become increasingly more involved with this stuff.

Ask ONE QUESTION - with multiple answers - the PHARMACY NABP NUMBER; Pharmacy DEA #; and PHYSICAN DEA # so you may verify their information - I bet you will hear a dial tone real QUICK like................

I gonna ask those Q's next tiem for sure. I didnt even think to ask bout that stuff. I was thinking of asking stuff having to do witht heir FTC violations etc. Good idea! I get the dial tone when I ask bout their FTC guidelines and violatinons so I am sure they will not give me a DEA # but I will sure as heck ask! lol

if they were legit they would answer every and any question you ask them. (pertaning to the nature of their business) If they didnt know an answer they woudl get soemone higher up than them. If they were legit they would do this b/c the FTC monitors the actual phone conversations for telemarketers. The FTC yank their stuff and they wouldnt be able to do any buisness.

I still think they are linked in the iop that wants your medical records and photo id to order 2 of there meds that are c4 pain meds and not for the c3 or c2 meds.very strange and I just have this feeling that there are linked to those groups that love to kill americans and anyone thats non islam.I may be wrong but its too strange to avoid.with your photo id and your med records they could easy pass as a citizen and enter the country.

how can you really think that these people are middle eastern or black or whatever just by a voice? some people think i am middle eastern when speaking to me on the phone but i am not i guess they may think that because my hubby is arabic and i guess it could be because i have been around him so so long that i have picked up on it and also speak arabic very well but IMO you cant tell by a voice of who and what they may be...luckily i havent got any calls from these places but it could be because i love to change my phone # from time to time. hope all of you guys stop getting these calls...i would also ask many many questions to them concering the DEA#'s and all of that person data due to their so-called place maybe then they will stop the calls because if they dont want to give that info out then to me IMO they are a scam and if they call back after hanging up on you them i would let them know that you have their info on caller id and will turn it in to the proper authorites JMO

DANG. they really cleaning up the chess.
