Can I jump in? Just found this thread. I really thought that there were more men than women here. Not so, I guess. It is tough to figure out by the username. Mine should be indicative of my sex (female) and I am 30, but still hanging on to my twenties (still look 25), but my husband is nearly all grey now and looks 40 so makes me look older I think. Mslily username...Lily was my cat in college(for only 8 days and then died from kitty AIDS the vet told me) and ms...indicating that I am female. Married with 2 year old daughter. Living in northern Kentucky because of hubby's job, but I was raised in California. 120 pounds in a past life (maybe 135 now) and here to say that your body NEVER comes back once you have a baby (treadmill every day too).

I just found this (most interesting!) thread too...
Male, 42 years young, 6' tall, 195 lbs, green eyes, brown hair (not much grey, tends to fall out before it turns grey!), fav color is blue, name is Jay, and I can't recall the air speed of a swallow.
And personally, I think if there are more gals here than guys, then it's the MEN who win, not the ladies!
The name "fishdude" comes from two of my favorite pastimes, fishing and fishtanks--hence the "fish" part of the name. "dude", 'cause I'm a MAN!!
Oh yeah, now living in Phoenix, but was in lovely Austin, TEXAS when I first signed up on DB a LONG time ago...

ok here goes....female, 30....and honestly I did think most of the people on here were women. Why you ask? Well here comes my explanation.
1. most men don't talk, least of all about their problems.
2. women are considered WHINERS in the eyes of most doc's.
3. when most women have done all the whining they can and got absolutely nowhere, being creative thinkers like we are we find other solutions to our problems!
Ok the my screen name....well that should be self explanitory....not that I am never wrong-just when I get told that I am wrong, being a woman, I quickly turn it around to prove that I was right!!
Just kidding....heheheh I just love the song (maybe...ya just never know)

Love the name Cantbewrong! We call my 16yr daughter "little miss can't be wrong" cause even if she is wrong you can't tell her that.  Anyway, I am 41 !yikes! My heart still thinks I am 21 but my bones let me know I am definitly not! Have three teens, my oldest is a U.S. Marine will hopefully be home by July (semperfi) I am 5'5" 120 blonde, grey eyes. My screen name, well I love my truck and it is a chevy! I guess that about covers it.

I thought I'd take the plunge and chime in. I am a 55 year old female. My favorite color is blue and my favorite pastime is spending time with my 4 grandchildren, ages 9,6,3 & 2. I love this forum and think everyone here is just great.

Hi everyone, thought I'd chime in here but first I would like to say that this group is great! This forum has been helpful, informative and often times humorous. I have come to really enjoy reading all the posts. I used to wake up to coffee and my email, now I go straight to DB! I'm sorry that I ask more questions than share knowledge but until joining DB, knowledge was exactly what I lacked, so a great big Thank you to everyone. Also, I'm a little shy when it comes to just chiming in but with all the friendly people in this group I've become more and more comfortable. So on to what this thread is all about:
I'm female, 40ish, happily married with 2 great daughters ages 13 and 18. My name is Debbie, favorite color is purple and I have no idea about the Swallow. Oh and the handle is just what it was, I stumbled on this site and I was curious. I think that covers it. I hope to start helping others as many of you folks do on a regular basis and will as soon as I know what I'm talking about! Anyways, that's it.
