I have heard some people talk about using their order number as the reference number to track. I have also heard them use their last name and zip code to track.

The only way I've ever tracked a package without either a tracking or reference number is to call UPS customer service. Call them ASAP the morning that the package is expected and give them as much info. upfront as you can.Tell them you're the recipient and give them your phone number, the delivery address and the shippers name and address and have them check if any package in their system matches. I had to do this one time when UnitedRX entered the wrong reference number on my shipment. They never screw up and I was sure it had gone out but it was too early to phone them and my only hope was calling UPS CS. Once I gave them all of that info. the nice lady confirmed that a package was indeed at the hub waiting for me to pick it up. Just make sure you give as many facts up front as you can so they can be sure that it's not a scam call. And it'll be up to you, but if you're met with any resistance, the ace in the hole is to tell them that the package contains important medication you need and that you believe it's going to a wrong address and that you need to confirm exactly where it's being delivered to or else it'll be a big headache for UPS. I didn't have to go that far in my case, but from what I've read here over the past two years it will help you get the answers you need. BTW, UPS's CS number is 1-800-742-5877 and they begin answering the phone live at 7AM weekdays and 7:30AM Saturdays. Best of luck!

I think you may have a problem doing that now. I've tried it a few times in the past couple of months, and UPS CS always tells me they can not give me that info without a tracking number. They are afraid that I may be impersonating the recipient. I have always been courteous and kind on the phone, but no luck. I've had both very friendly and very rude CS reps and it's not worked for me. I guess I can see UPS' point, though. I could be someone just trying to intercept or steal a package. But it's a pain when you don't knw where your merchandise is!

What i think happens is the Med. COs wait until they have a full batch of orders to send out..Then they either contact ups..fed-ex etc and they then get a tracking number..Quantumview will send you a tracking number..just be patient.. Check out Rxbetterdeals if you are having problems out of your current provider.. FyErMoN Peace everybody...
