Son-in-law/Heart Trouble
      #193294 - 10/12/04 08:40 PM

I just got word that my 43-year old son-in-law, the father of my 2 grandchildren, is having an angiogram and a stent tomorrow morning. Would everyone sent their best wishes and thoughts? Thank you.

Barett

He'll be great!!! My father-in-law (he's 59) had an angio and a stent twice - and he recovered both times wonderfully! First time was several years ago; since then he was sitting on a chair in a casino and the chair broke off and he was thrown. He has had the angio after that, I think about 2 years ago and he's kicking! I send you all my prayers and good wishes, I know how scarey it can be, but all will be well.

Barrett, I'm sure he'll be fine. It's a pretty common procedure nowadays. My sister-in -law, who's 50, had it done a couple months ago and she feels great. She says now she's good to go for another 50 yrs. I'll keep him in my prayers and tell your daughter not to worry, he'll be just fine.
