I ordered valium about 3 months ago and finally got a notice that customs has seized it and it would be destroyed uless I wanted to contact the DEA and get special permission to have meds shipped from outside the US. Customs stated that it is illegal even if you have a prescription from a foriegn doctor. The doc has to be also board certified in the US.

I had an order in August of 2 shipment. One was seized and had to be reshipped but I received everything. You'll know what happened soon enough Diana, because that envelope has to be delivered to you whether they've seized the contents or not, since it's registered.

IF your meds have been seized, there will probably be a small piece of paper inside the envelope that will provide you with the docket number # or whatever-it's a code that's particular to your seizure. It probably won't be a full sheet of paper. Hold on to this E-mail Malee and give her a copy of the text verbatim, including the number assigned.

This SHOULD be enough to get you a reship, especially if you're not a first time customer, and if if youare an old customer, ordering something you have before (pills in zip-bag as opposed to wrapped) she probably would not take any offense at suggestions for less obvious packaging.

She may want you to fax a copy of the letter as proff that it really was seized. In this case, you might want to wait a week or so for the dread 6-age letter you hear everyone talking about. The reason for this is because the second letter will actually state a)the substance in question and b) the date of interception along with that seizure number that you got on the first piece of paper in thae empty envelope you had to sign for. This page makes it absolutaly clear. But usually you don't have to do that.

I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that even though you can usually set your watch by Interpharm, mail from SE Asia is running at a snail's pace right now.

Also, though rare, USPS sometimes delays mail for no apparent reason and then loses it it for weeks. . .months. . . . I remember in March of 2003-I think_ ordering a 4-part shipment and receivingonly the first and fourth.Up until then-and since then-every package from IP has come to me between 10 and 14 days after the ship date. I knew somethng was up, but Malee, running a business, is not to be influenced by clairvoyants, and told me to wait.

However, However, 6 weeks from the date of the the 2nd shipment, she agreed to initiate reshipment of my 2nd and 3rd shipments., phenobarbitol and lorazepam. A week later-too early-I got a package. It the orginal 2nd shipment, released from quarantine. I wrote Malee immediately, so that she could halt the second part of reshipment, if there were time. Within a week, I got the reshipped phenobarb, and the finally-the ativan. I figure ,y letters were quaratined because of the SARS epidemic going on at the the time.

My saga doesn't even compare to that of my friend and our fellow boardmember, who placed a couple of order for alprazolam at the same time, which never showed up and were reshipped. Out of the blue in February 2004 or so, she started receiving packages from interpharm. . .
