Yet another (superfluous) reminder to always have a back-up on hand (at least enough to taper off of).

Yeah, our wonderful prescription laws in theory forbid stocking up but unfortunitly they don't suggest what to do if that place you are getting you prescription from goes out of business! I am a fim believer in having at least a 30 day supply extra at all times, especially if you are dealing with these places.

And as far as betterdeals and 1stop being "bad (invalid) server names, this may still not mean the end. They could have just removed the name from the sever while they were having problems.

But I admit, the best no rec op's (betterdeals and 1stop) are most likely gone.

Let's be hopefull that they will repopen soon under yet another name as yeah, it must of been the shortest run of all for an OP.

Which makes me think, why even take the time and money to build a new web sites and reopen under new names only to shut two months later? Makes no sence unless it was not there choice if get where I am going....

Strange. Wish these places would answer phones so a couple of people (to confirm) could find out the the real deal or at least their story (although as the last time someone posted gooddeals said they were moving to New York which proved totally off base).

This "dry spell" seems to happen evey couple of months, people freak, that that would love them all gone use it to report the death of no-rec op's. Then within a week or two we have two or three replacements.

So we sit, we wait and watch for the next one while we hope we have enough back-up to last so we do't have to order form rip-off place like codhydrocodone or jetsrx.

And with those places limiting to 60- hydro's a month, no offence, but does anyone get proper pain relief from two 4 hour hydo's a day? 120 or even 90 would be a bit more realistic.

Anyway, everyone have a heathy weekend everyone and I'll be searching around as I have been for the past week since my reorder from betterdeathdeals and rx1stop were due, on everything from of course DB to other similar boards to "normal" search engines like Yahoo, to "pay-per-click" search(found some good sounces this way before too), and didn't find much of all worthwhile.

But if I do, I will post the results and hope for the same from other memebers.

Another thing about allrexmeds.com is I called them once to find out if after I placemy order are they gonna ask for medical records AFTER I pay like some of these places are doing now and she said, let me have "Corey" from Tech dept call you back... He calls back and tells me "dont order from that sight order from it was something like myallmedspdq.com or something so I went there, and it was EXACTLY the same as the other site, yet he never answered my question. Day 2 I call them back I ask the same question "will you say you need records one I give you my CC and stuff" She says let me have some one call you back. I told her thats what they said yesterday and that its a simple question She says I need someone else to call you back on this I said fine. NOONE ever did vall back. So I would say STAY AWAY FROM TEKMEDS. ALLREXMEDS AND ALLMEDSPDQ? i THINK IT IS If at all possible they are a SCAM 100% NO DOUBT ABOUT IT...

allrexmeds will call your local doc.trust me i went throught them awhile back.they have several sister sites that will do they same.

MANY sister sites. This is the 10 count place.

And they call your doctor? For 10 pills?

Anyway, Tekmeds is another clone and, I think, the mother site, as their name came up on several of their sister sites.

In any case, maybe that is why they didn't fill my order I tried to place last week.

Although it would be nice if they would call, or e-mail that. I didn't even get an order confirmation e-mail, the online status is "unknown" and e-mail inquires go unanswered. Another scammer.

You know, and please no bad implications about the U.S. implied, but I have had better luck with the supposedly "very risky" IOP's that I have with America's own OP's!

So far I have NEVER been scammed by an IOP, although I try to do a lot of research before I order. But I have been scammed or at least had orders end up in permanent "pending" statusus from domestic OP's more times than I can count. In fact`the only time I was scammed out of money was from a domestic OP (using e-check with hotdeals).

And the sader thing is, for better or worse, IOP usually don't even require the online consultations that the no-rec OP's here do. And I know several IOP where you can order quite a few schedule II meds (like ritalin and morphine) quite cheaply (considering) and without having to do any more than add it to your shopping cart, and checkout as you would at Amazon.

This is why, again, I am working with the lobbying group. The drug and drug sceduling laws in the U.S. along with the fact that the richest country in the world who can waste billions trying to create a democracy in a country where, well, let's just say, good luck with that, but we can't even guarantee every citizen decent, basic health care and afforable medication for their aliments.

Also important to the debate is that the U.S. government doesn't feel that people are smart enough to make decisions about their own health. Yet we see how many misdiagnoses and often fatal mistakes the supposed experts many people can't even afford make.

In fact one of the reasons, health care is so expensive in the U.S. is the cost of malpracticice insurance. There are lots of reasons for this (overly generous juries and greed being two), but it is also quite obvious that it gets used at least a decent amount.

So, I believe that as long as someone is an adult, not declared incompetant, and approves a waver, they should be able to order, say 90 Hydro's a month for their back pain without having to jump through hoops, be made to feel like a recreational drug addict, or find a "liberal" doctor (not always easy in small towns).

Ok, my rant is over. Right now, I'm just really upset about betterdeals and 1stop. They were my primary and secondary source and always came through,, were decently to very good priced (considering the competition), shipped quick, etc.

Very well said, and the God's honest truth, IMO. You know that society's got to be in a state of decline when you can walk into any doctor's office and walk out with a script for Vioxx for pain (look how that one turned out!!) but they treat you like you're a drug addict if you ask for something that will actually work for your pain.

As long as you take the meds as directed and don't go out driving around or operate any heavy machinery like the nice little stickers they put on the bottles say, then I honestly don't see what the problem would be for your doctor to prescribe a pain medication to you. Thanks to some irresponsible people who probably didn't even need these types of meds, the rest of us have to suffer not only with the pain, but with paying for overpriced meds and OP's that come and go faster than you can say "refill".
