I really didn't know where to post this question, so I will try here
When you place an order with an op and you choose COD delivery via UPS, does it have to be cahs, or can you use a money order? I've never bought anything COD before, and am expecting an order soon but may not be here when it arrives. So I was considering leaving a money order in an envelope taped to my door, w/ instructions for the UPS to leave my package inside my storm door.
If anyone knows if I can use a money order for COD orders, please let me know.

It could be a COD or cashiers check.
If it is a cashiers chech put the name of the company and your name. For example goodbuys or Jane Smith that way if nothing comes your not stuck with an iyem you can't cash.

It does have to be a money order or cashiers check only. The ups guy will probably not leave the package at your door, as you will have to sign for it if it's from an op. You can have it placed on hold and pick it up at the ups hub, pick it up that night after the driver gets back, or wait for him to deliver it the next day. Remember to bring your ID. They are usually pretty strict on this when you go to the hub. pete.

It will have to be a money order, you can get them at your post office also, If you don't know who to make it out to ,wait until UPS gets there and ask the driver, he will tell you who it goes to.
You can get your money order at almost any convenience store or grocery store with a customer service desk. I always wait until the ups person shows up or when I go to the hub to pick it up, fill it out there when they can confirm who to make it payable to. A few times I ordered from sites and made the money order payable to what they said on the site, but when ups showed up/or at the hub, they check the return address and a few times it was different to what the site said. I usually fill out the other portions of the money order though to expediate the procedure. Good luck!
