I have chronic left flank pain with unknown etiology. I've had kidney stones on the left side, and was born without my left ovary and fallopian tube, and diagnosed with "pelvic congestion syndrome." No doctor can figure it out.
My doctor put me on 300mg/TID Neurontin, and said it would work wonders.
Tonight, my husband extended a hand to help me up off of the floor (the dogs claim the couch), and I just went limp and fell on the floor. I didn't know what was happening, but I could see images of his face, a dog, the tv.... I felt like I was shaking, stuck in some place. When I "came to," my husband told me to quit joking, and I asked what happened. I don't remember falling, but I was conscious of weird "still frames" of everything around me.
Did I faint or have a seizure?!

It sounds like you did have a seizure. When you faint, you generally don't "shake" like you said you did. Also, if you had fainted, you wouldn't have seen anything until you came to. I agree whole heartedly with the other posters here- go see your Dr. immediately! This is nothing to mess with! You may have had a reaction to this new medication. Please go see your Dr. and keep us posted!
I will be praying for you ~ God bless
Peace,

Julz

It's weird that you should mention this because I went through something similar a little while back...
I began to feel very nauseous and ran to the bathroom thinking that I was about to vomit. On my way there I felt very light-headed and luckily my boyfriend noticed that I looked a little strange and came rushing in after me. When I got to the lavatory I knelt down and said out loud 'I'm going to pass out now' (as if I'd done this many times before and was a dab hand at it!) Next thing I know I'm hearing a really loud buzzing noise, as if someone's trying to (unsuccessfully) tune into a radio station inside my head. I also hear someone in the distance calling my name, so I open my eyes and there's my boyfriend's face above mine & he's yelling at me. All I could think of was 'what have I done this time? what's wrong now?' because he looked very cross (I later discovered that this was because he was petrified). I was only out for a few seconds but when I came to it seemed as if I'd been away for hours.
I was later told that after announcing that I was 'going to pass out now' I had done just that. I fell back, my pupils dilated, the colour completely drained from my face and lips and my head turned to one side. My eyes and mouth were wide open and my boyfriend thought that he'd lost me... he actually thought that I was dead. It was a horrible time and because my Father has temperal lobe epilepsy I was terrified that I'd inherited it too. However, all was cleared up when I went to the doctors and had tests which proved that I had just fainted... phew! I can't tell you how relieved I was, but I can empathise with what you're going through because for me it really was a terrifying ordeal. Make an appointment now and remember to gather every piece of information that you can so your Doctor is able to make an informed diagnosis.
Good luck, I hope everything goes well for you.

I'm not so sure about this being a seizure. Neurontin is known to have some whacky effects in people. And it is also an anti-seizure med itself My former kooky neighbor used to take neurontin regularly and had fits and weird stuff happening all the time
