Here's one for you:

1. I have not eaten for a while, I take a 10 mg val and within 15 minutes I feel relaxed.
2. I have swum 2000 yards, I have not eaten, I take a 10 mg Val and i feel NOTHING at any time after taking it.

Does exercise and the endorphins it produces also effect the same GABA receptors that Benzos do? Put simply does exercise interfere with the effect of Benzo's. What is your experience?

Here's my extremely uninformed ignorant opinion.

The endorphines produced when you exercise are the body's own form of opiates right? Well, it would seem if you take your val. it has no effect due to either the mixing of the chemicles, or the body's absorption preference.
