Drug interaction - Methadone and Effexor

Has anyone had a problem with taking these two drugs together?

I found taking Effexor and Hydrocodone made me very sick to my stomach, but Prozac and Hydro are not a problem. Not a definitive answer, I know.

I've been on Effexor(SR) and meth simultaneously. 300mg of Effexor and as much as 120mg of meth. I had no problems until I was tapered down to about 40mg of meth. Then I just felt awful/depressed.

theborg (you reffed me to habeeb, remember?) if you want to PM me I'd be happy to compare notes. W/o much info on your issues I can't really compare your experience to mine. Maybe we've gone thru some of the same Best if kept off the board. I was on both meds for 6 mo. Write if you want to 'talk'

Toe regularly uses Effexor and methadone with no difficulties.

I'm fine with Hydro, but methadone made me sick as a dog. I know everyone is different but I just thought I should warn people about these two drugs taken together.
