In Internet Explorer, go to "tools" then select "internet options" then go to the bottom and push the button that says "clear history". That will do it.

Gage,

ALso when you open up the pulldown menu in, IE delete cookies, files, etc. You can also set it up to clear your history every time you log off. Also it is a good idea to run scandisk, and defrag to :
a)Permantly delete everything(there is some debate over this)
b)Increase the speed on your computer.
I am not an expert, just trying to help.

Good Luck
Ken

If you're using Internet Explorer, put your mouse over the top of it where the icon are and right click. You'll see options come up. Scroll down to the "Address Bar" and make sure it's clicked and has a check by it.

Actually, this doesn't get rid of it for me. I have gone to Internet Op's and deleted temp files (including all off line content option) cookies and cleared history, restarted and even though nothing else will be showing when i hit the drop down button in the URL bar (meaning everythign has been visably deleted) when i begin to type "www.d" a massive list of drugbuyers path's will automatically appear and i haven't been able to figure out a way to get rid of it! i also run spybot and adaware both regularly. i too want to make sure anyone else on my computer doesnt see this. besides that, its just really irritating the &$#! out of me! ha! any other tips??

That is your auto complete option on so go tot tools then choose options then on that screen choose content at the bottom of this screen you will see personal information then choose auto complete and unchoose or make sure check mark is gone from url.

that will stop the auto complete of web addresses.

yep! that will work. just make sure to uncheck the autocomplete box and i uncheck the forms box also. the "tools" button is the key to deleting info from all your "travels" you can dump history, passwords, almost everything.....play with it till you understand it. you really can't hurt anythink except maybe delete the auto password function.13 year olds are pretty smart!
