DrugBuyers.Com: Medical Condition: Varicocele.

A few years back I was diagnosed with a condition known as varicocele which is defined as:
"enlargement of the veins of the spermatic cord producing a soft compressible tumor mass in the scrotum"
After consultation with my urologist, we decided to try surgery in hopes of removing the mass. I was informed before hand the possibility of life-long residual pain in the testes, which in my case has been getting worse over the last few years.
Throughout my life I have had many trips to the ER and perscribed vicodin for my pain needs on more than five occasions.
It will take much more research before choosing whats right for me. I am hoping to find some information from those here at DB who may share the same condition. Such as how bad has the pain been for you and what types of management have you chosen? Or anyone with some useful information reguarding this condition feel free to share. Thanks to all:)
