My pain Dr has given me both at different times. You are correct about the oxi being time released. The roxi works well for me but just doesn't last as long.Percocet(sp?) works well too,but I don't like apap.Roxicodone also comes in a liquid form and works very very fast, just a squirt in the mouth and bingo pain is gone.Thats what I get for breakthru.Good Luck ....P

I am a chronic pain veteran. With that being said, I love roxicodone. It works quick and I always want to put on a Bob Marley tune. lol!

I thought Roxi was a schedule 2 and has the same main ingredient as percocet...... Hydocodone is a schedule 3--(not as strong)!.....Someone correct me if I'm wrong here--Hope

Does Roxicodone come in stronger mgs? In the liquid or Pills?

I take two Ten mg Percocet up to 4X a day. I would love to try this Roxicodone but I think I would need stronger mgs.

Roxicodone IS the same as Percocet, it is oxycodone. It comes in the same mgs as Percocet. And I wouldn't really say that just because it is a schedule II and hydrocone/apap is a schedule III that it is stronger. Hydrocodone by itself Is a schedule II narcotic. It only becomes a III when it is combined with apap or tylenol.

\for me I find the oxycodone works much better than Hydro, but I've heard some people say the opposite.....it's a matter of what works best for you....I think I take way more hydro when I was taking it than I have to take of Percocet...and if you have a doc willing to prescribe, you may want to try a long acting med like oxycontin....I take a combo and find I can get pain free most of the time...

I thought that the most Percocet came in was 10 mgs. I saw that the Roxicodone comes in 30mgs and plus this liquid mentioned here. What mg is this liguid?

Does Percocet come in larger mgs than 10?

Thanks!

I haven't seen percocet over 10/650. Maybe that's where the roxi. comes in. Higher doses if IR oxycodone?

Actually Roxicodone is without APAP, unlike Percocet; and also comes in an oral solution

Roxicet is the same as Percocet 5/500

The liquid has a 20ml dropper which if I'm thinking right is = to (4) 5mg percocet.Just no apap.It gets in your system really fast.Just squirt it under the tongue and within mins its working.Doesn't seem to last as long. The Brand name is Intensol.Have a Great Day....P

When I was prescribed 30mgs Roxicodone. It was a little blue pill that worked very fast. It is a schedule II drug. The opiate in it is oxycodone. (aka: Percodan, Oxy I/R,Roxicodone,etc.) It has been explained to me that tylenol or apap is included in pain meds to accelerate the effect. Also, the difference between Schedule II and Schedule III is based on how addicitve the properties are based on trials done by the pharmacetical company. Anyway, I think its an effective drug for someone in a lot of pain. Good luck, Curiousdee

Roxicodone and "ROXICET" both made by Roxanne Labs are two completely different drugs .Why IS everyone mixing up Roxicodone -STRAIGHT OXYCODONE "NO ASPRIN. TYLENOL ETC" to Roxicet the generic form of percocet with the same mixture? This thread is confusing me I have been on this drug from my doctor recently "Rocicodone" it is a small pill that comes in 30mg strength. Not A FAT white one with 5 numbers on ot like Roxicet. Please someone confirm this for me before Ithink Im going nuts..... Joanne
