Can aanyone tell me if there is any op that i can contact today (Friday) and get pain meds tommorow? I am despiret. I had 2 root canals and the Dr gave me 12 Tylenol 3s. one is in fected and the Dr is gone until Monday. I think i will be crazy by then.

You could have called Meds Nationwide or Patient Care USA.
They both offer same day consult and shipping. They are not related.

Hope all worked out (Next Day). Been a while since I've posted and now I'm in similar situation (Shoulder Surgery, not root canal same as you - but been there). I say that someone posted a PM that may have solved issue. Can you share that info/provider with me. Thanks

wow...this same exact thing happened to me two weekends ago, only the dentist left me with NO prescriptions for the weekend. At least you got something!
As a nurse (whether that means anything or not!), if you think your teeth are infected, GO TO THE ER!!!!
If you have unconrollable pain, GO TO THE ER!!!!
I had a root canal, three crowns and three cavities filled all along my right upper teeth. Dentist told me "take Motrin" . The next day was friday and of course, dentist was already gone on vacation for the weekend. I ended up in the ER for pain relief, but never again will I have that much dental work without leaving the office with a script.
If you don't have enough pain meds, call your dentist and he should be able to call in more for your, or go to your ER. I know how much it hurts! This coming Tuesday, I go for my permanent crowns and I am scared to death!!! I pray that it doesn't hurt like the first time......
