Hello all, just curious if anyone knows the phone number to universal rx(the pharmacy that ephy uses),or if they have there own personal website?
Is there anywhere to go to see what all kinds of meds they offer, all that it shows on us pharmacy list norco 10 and valium 10 ,but surely they offer more meds than that!!!
Does anyone know if they can prescribe meds for 2 seperate conditions(example pain anxiety)?Well anyway if anyone has any info about this please reply or P.M. me,because I have a consult monday afternoon, and just wanted to get a little info before the consult!!!
THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE

Hi Poppyale,
I just looked at my rx bottle from Universal and the phone number listed is (866)400-8343. I've never called them, so I don't know if thats an accurate number or not. I also saw Ephy's list of meds, the hydro and valium, but can't help there, as I only ordered the Hydro. Yes, it does seem like they must prescribe more than that. Anyway, hope this helps.

They've got those listed apparently because they are the most popular medications.
A pharmacy can dispense any medication prescribed by a physician. If they don't have it in stock they order it. But I've never heard of any pharmacy that only dispenses two medications.

Ephy's doctor will prescribe more than one medication if he deems it to be medically necessary. I have a friend who receives #90 Hydro. 10/325 and #90 2mg Xanax from Ephy.
Like I said, the doc won't necessarily prescribe everyone pain and anxiety meds. He will only do so if your medical records show you have conditions that require medication for both ailments.
Also, Ephy has a "real" doctor. He actually reviews your medical records before your consultation. Ephy is no NWW. They treat people with "real" medical conditions. However, their doc is a very nice person. He doesn't talk down to you and treat you as if you were an addict.

Kind of new at this. What's the deal with the phone consults? what kind of stuff do they ask? I banged up my finger pretty badly when it got hit by a remarkable line drive playing softball. Seriously, it still hurts after 2 weeks, and I have to go for physical therapy, which makes it ache all the more. Is this sufficient to ask for #90 Hydro. 10/325 (I have ER and x-rays records), or does a busted finger not cut it with these guys? I just don't know what to expect with a phone consult, and I'm a bit apprehensive.
Thanks.
Also, what kind of prices are we looking at here?
Anyone can also pm me with details, if you wish.

C Brown, I don't think a banged up finger would be a sufficient reason to receive #90 10mg Hydro. Ephy treats people suffering from chronic pain and anxiety conditions. I don't think this would qualify as one; however, you can try. You can do everything (including consult fee) c.o.d. through ephy. So if the doc doesn't approve it, you haven't lost any money

Thanks, roxeanne.
Actually, the injured finger is what I have current records for. I also get migraines, and do not tolerate the tryptans well, and tore a nerve in my back 6 years ago from a nasty judo throw. The back pain was excruciating, but died down over 6 months. Now it just flares up every so often. Since that was so long ago, relatively, I do not have new records for that.
Thanks for your response.

Has anyone ever used ephy to get welbutrin xl 300mgs? My sister is currently on it and we are looking for a cheaper place to buy it. She will not use an overseas pharmacy. I saw it listed on their page but don't know how to go about getting a price for the script. And does ephy give refills, i think i read that they did but am not sure. Any help is appreciated. Can we actually call the pharmacy and see if they have a price for it if you aren't a patient of ephy yet? My sister lost her insurance so we are trying to find out if going through an op would be cheaper than going to a regular doctor and filling it at walgreens. Take care.

Call 1866-ephynow and ask them. I don't think if you call the pharmacy they would be able to direct your concerns in the matter your seeking.
You most likley will have to call Ephy and ask if the DR fills that certain med. Yes, Ephy gives refills, but to what extent?(certain meds) I'm not sure...ask them.
I hope this has helped somewhat, please feel free to pm me if you need any further info
Take care, and hope you have a wonderful evening!

PamiX, thank you. I will call them tomorrow and ask them. I sent them an email to see if i could get a price on it, but it was sent kinda late. But thanks for the number, i will call them tomorrow to find out. My sister lost her insurance so we are just trying to find the cheapest way to go for her right now. That's an expensive prescription but she can't stop taking it. Again, thank you!

Ephy seems different in that you do not "order" a particular medication. How does this work? Do you come right out and ask the Dr. what you would like, and hope he/she agrees during the consult? Or, do they just tell you what you're getting, like it or not?
Thanks

After the DR looks at your records,he determines what is best for you.Recommends preventative measures, and IF needed will prescribe necessary meds.
Also, sometimes your records will state what meds worked best for you and he will continue that treatment.
Hope this has helped.

People might think I work for them by now as I am always raving about them. I think they are a very good op, and if you have any problems, you are not out any money, as it's all done cod. I would go with them.
