Anyone have any thoughts on which works better? I have always used Norco before but with such things going on with my body, my doctos always want me on an anti-inflammatory but never prescrive hydro/ibuprofen. Does anyone know why?
Any thoughts on this? Is it worth switching??

I don't know what nurofen is, but by your post it seems like it may be similar to vicoprofen. I was on this for a while. they only make 7.5/200 combination with ibprofen.
I had been on norco prior to vicoprofen and it was not as effective on treating the pain for me. It may be helpful to you though as it has an anti-inflammatory in it. The only question I had was how many of them could you take at once, as you can take 800 mgs of Ib. in one dose.
this probably didn't help much, but if it did, Good. PM with any questions. pete.

Before I found stronger meds,,,, I would get Nurofen plus from New Zealand... they are...
"Each tablet of Nurofen contains 200mg ibuprofen and codeine 12.8mg "
my opinion would be to stay with the norco,,,, which I take now....10.325
hope this helps ya out......

i goofed! i didn't mean to ask about "nurofen"....what I meant was Vicodin versus Vicoprofen
I edited my above post to show what i was trying to ask...
I personally have never tried Vicoprofen but seems like every doc wants me on anti-inflammatories but yet Tylenol No. 3 and Vicodin and Percocet are so popular but all contain acetaminophen. Why don't more combination pain medicines contain an anti-inflammatory??

it works great for me. i was taking motins and vicodin. i said to my doc hay lets kill 2 bords with one pill. i have benn taking it off and onn for 2 tears. it is the one drug that comes close t total relief that i would get with oxy. it is more money but i have insurance so i only pay 8 dollars for any wher between 50-100 tabs. it seems as strong ( to me) as a one norco 10-660..
i like it you wont be disapointed..

I don't know if this will help or not, but sometimes I take a half of a 10/325 with one Motrin 200 mg. It works awesome!!!
