I have an appt. with my PO on June 10th and I was wondering when I should stop taking the Hydro so I will pass the test, I have a script from my dentist but I would rather just pass the test then have to go and give her the bottle and info and all that. Last month I failed the test for opiates, I had only taken 2 that morning cause of the pain and I failed it, I gave her the information about my vicoprofen, but if I fail the test again this month then she will think I am some sort of pill popper or something, I have been getting major dental work done and have been taking the hydro for the pain for the inbetween visits, but even though my dentist gave me the script she is one of those people who thinks a lot of people self medicate. I also asked her how much one has to take in order to fail the test and she said about 600mg of hydro, I could not believe that when she said that, that is a massive amount, I would be dead if I took 600mg of hydro, so I do not think that is accurate info she told me. The vicoprofen I took were 7.5/750 so I had taken 15mg of hydro and failed it. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Thats a million dollar question... Hydro usually leaves the body within a few days, but some individuals are diffrent.
I recently picked up a job outside of my consulting, went to my local "head" shop and bought a "#1" its a synthetic urin system that I now sware by.

Beta, you maybe correct, I havent checked the link, thanks for it... What I love about the kit was that it was a small 3oz medical type bag you wear around your waste, and 1 hour b4 the test you insert a heating element that brings the synthetic unin to the right temp, and keeps it there for up to eight hours which was great for me cause I had to wait 3 hrs just to drop my synthetic sample. I still have enough left to give 1 more sample if needed and the product is supposed to have a 1yr shelf life, and comes with two heating elements.
The syntetic passed the temp test, specific gravity test, and raised no eyebrows!! It even smelled a little like pee, not that I was putting my nose in it! I love it, on the box it states "for lawful use only", yeah I know alot of people that legally submit synthetic urin...
After geting the job, at a pharmacutical comp non the less, I discovered that a few employees wear these things everyday, just in case of a random screening, which apparently happens alot at this firm.

My PO watches me pee, so I do not think that would be an option for me lol, but I think I will tell her the truth and give her the script printout again that my dentist gave to me.

one week.
if withdrawl is too bad, you can take tramadol instead for the week. tramadol is completely different in stucture from all the semi-synthetic opioids and natural opiates. it will not fail the test.

Lttlbit, unless your PO actually watches your unit, ya know, then it would be possible to pull this system off. A little tape around your unit that attaches the small tube that feeds synthetic urin from the bag. I guess pulling the tape of might be a lttlbit painful...

LMAO I don't have a unit, sorry that gave me good laugh this morning, She does watch me go to the bathroom and I guess I would be a littel scared to stick tape to my frog (that is what my daughter calls it) LOL, thanks though so much for the advice, but I think I will just go the ol honesty is the best policy route.

My daughter takes horse riding lessons and when she was learning how to pick the horses feet, her instrustor said ok now you do not want to pick the frog or it will hurt the horse, I have to say even my daughter who is 6 started laughing and so did I and my husband. I have not clue where she came up with that, my son who is 8 calls his his goober or shalong. LMAO

If you have been taking the stuff pretty much regularly for a long time period (say a year or more) you'd need to stop taking it at least a week before the test. Also, drink a lot of water 2-3 days before the test.

It means exactly what it says. tramadol's metabolite is 200 times more of an opioid than tramadol is.
