ARE THESE BOTH CLASS 2 DRUGS???

PS IS AVINZA JUST ANOTHER NAME FOR OXYCOTIN??
Avenza is not another name for oxycontin, it is a time release Morpheine capsule with small BB's in it. Each one is 1mg of time release Morpheine, so a 120mg would have 120 bb's in it.
Avenza comes in 30mg, 60mg, 90mg, and 120mg.
She is probably prescribed Oxy IR 5mg for breakthrough pain, or when she is in sevier pain and the avenza isnt working enough. Oxycodone is what Oxycontin is, but they come in 20mg, 40mg, and 80mg pills. 4 of the Oxy IR 5mg pills would be equivilant to a 20mg oxycontin pill, BUT the IR stands for INSTANT RELEASE so this is not recomended, because the oxycontin 20's are time relase (as are the avenza)
