My pkg was susposed to be delived today and it was a 2nd day air now i checked it and it says it will be rescheduled for monday, so i called ups and told them that the pkg is close to me but about 2 hours away and why would it sit there for the weekend nontheless since last night, the lady told me that it would be delivered today 50/50 chance then i called again to get a second opinion and she said since it was scanned at 2:38 am and that is after midnight then it shows a rescheduled date well on the pc when i checked it, it shows it was scanned at 7:15 pm last night, so i am so confused and then she said that it would come to me 99% today, so i just need some reassurance what do you think. thanks.

Sounds confusing.
One possibility IF it is NOT delivered today might be for you to pick it up at the hub - if you want to drive 2 hrs each way.
from their web site:

I will not be available to receive my package(s) when UPS returns. What are my options?
There are several delivery options available. First, look closely at the InfoNotice to see if any instructional boxes are checked. Depending on the requirements of the shipper, you may be able to sign the back of the InfoNotice authorizing the driver to leave your package. Or, in the comments section of the note, you may write another address where the driver should take the package for delivery.
You may also submit a Delivery Change Request using the UPS Web site. Enter your 12 digit InfoNotice number on the Tracking page to begin requesting a change of delivery. You may choose from the following four options:
Reschedule Delivery: Reschedule a date for delivery at the original address.
Return to Shipper: Return your package to the shipper.
Redirect Package: Have your package delivered to an alternate address.
Will Call: Arrange to pick up your package at UPS.

I just went through this with UPS, and they told me that unless it is at the hub that is actually responsible for delivering my package, I could not ppick it up. My package was stuck in Columbia, SC. I offered to go get it (about an hour away). I told them I was leaving for vacation and needed it ASAP. They said because the Charleston hub was responsible for delivery in my area, I had to get it from them. They would not allow me to pick it up in CVolumbia, so verify that you can get it.....

I have no responsibility here whatsoever..........

lttlbit,
I've had numerous deliveries from UPS that, according to tracking, were supposedly rescheduled. But the packages always ended up arriving on the correct (original) delivery day.
I guess if UPS thinks there's even the slightest possibility your package will be a day late, they reschedule just to cover their rear end.
I'm not saying you'll definitely get yours today. Without seeing the details of your tracking, I can't tell you anything else. I'm just letting you know what my experience has been with "rescheduled" deliveries.
But I think there's a chance your package will show up today. Let us know. Good luck.
