asking for sales on here is a big no-no, maybe you should go to a hospital

yea right, go to a hospital where you will be disrespected and put on crappy drugs that make you worse instead of help your depression.

interesting choices you have in mind to try for depression, i wanted to try Pramipexole myself. www.anti-aging-drugs.com has it under parkinsonism. i never got around to trying it. I use tramadol and that helps but unfourtunately tolerance and dependance is alaways a problem, weather its paxil or tramadol. the current mainstream accepted treatments of depression look grim too and its infinately frustrating. depression is so misunderstood. check out this site:
www.biopsychiatry.com
it will give almost all the options for depression and info on each

Uhm, Tone, what is this saying to you?

Seems to me they're asking who will buy one from a drug store and sell to them. The words 'sell to me' are not asking which drug store has it, but who will 'sell' to them. A big no no on here.

Even if you are broke - there are services for you. Call your local Mental Health Services dept. for your state and they will refer you to a center. The only way you can obtain benefits though is by going through an all-day evaluation which does include a drug-test (drawn by blood). You will get to see a real psychiatrist and can receive prescriptions such as Effexor, Celexa, Wellbutrin, anti-psyschotics,. etc (whatever's prescribed).. for free. One catch, you have to be unemployed or poverty-stricken.
Please get help. There are services out there for those in real need. Just contact your Mental Health Services dept. and they will help.

I'm in the UK,I take venlafaxine and,to help me sleep, trazadone.I have printed out several hundred pages from the biopsychiatry website, and other sites.I have a cellular copper deficiency(that causes under production of dopamine and, therefore, noradrenaline by 30% to 60%),which might be caused by a high level of cortisol.A low level of cortisol is also linked to depression.I'm having a saliva cortisol test done soon.

Tone, I'm curious about something. You say that you are currently taking Ultram for your pain issues. I think it's great when someone finds a medicine that works for them without any real negative side effects. But I've heard that withdrawal from Ultram is the WORST.
I've had 2 friends that were taking it for endometriosis and Fybromyalgia. One of them said after taking it for over 6 months, they tried to taper, and it was almost impossible. They felt incredibly ill, one had a seizure (and this person did a slow taper) and they felt that it was harder than any opiate to actually get away from.
Have you ever tried to taper off of this med? I'm curious, as my doctor is more than willing to prescribe this med to me, but it doesn't effect me well. After reading all of what's on the web and what's happened to people who are close to me, it seems that this is one medicine that hasn't been fully evaluated in regard to side effects and withdrawal, since my doctor seems to think there is no withdrawal that accompanies it.
Like I said, if it helps pain (and I also hear it doubles as an anti-dep), that's wonderful, but I wonder about comments being made in regard to how incredible long and drawn out the withdrawal can be. Shedding any light on this would be informative since it seems to work for you.

I found it nearly impossible to taper off, or quit using tramadol after nearly 2 years of daily use. Gained tolerance quite rapidly...im about 2-3 weeks clean without it, but suffering horribly...severe anxiety, depression, and ungodly insomnia and fatigue.
I just visited my psychiatrist a nice hefty $175 for a 45 minute visit and he prescribed me lexapro for the anxiety, OCD, and depression.
Temazepam for the anxiety and insomnia. Today is the first day of my new treatment and I have hope but I still feel no drug helps my OCD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia more than tramadol.
If only the drug didnt produce such euphoria and stimulation for me I wouldnt feel so guilty self medicating with it. Odd I find it more enjoyable than any other opiate, maybe beside pure oxycontin.
Anyhow, I posted a little more details of my tramadol situation and anti-depressants, social anxiety in the "Social Anxiety" thread in this forum. Take a look if you wish to add anything.
Best wishes,
Anthony

unfortunatly your two friends are right, i may actually have to switch to a LITTLE bit of vicodin to help withdrawl from tramadol oddly enough

Wow that is ironic, since as I'm sure you know, people often use tramadol to withdraw from Vicodin. Good luck to the poster who started this thread. Unfortunately, I have had Tone's experience with psychiatry & depression. A lot of money, disrespect, and little if any (and I'm being generous here) relief.
However, I hasten to add, everyone IS different and many have been greatly helped by psychiatrists. As many posters like to quote, "your mileage may vary" with any med or treatment option.
