People are human - humans have bad days - human people work at E-Phy. Part of being a good consumer is working |TH|ROUGH problems - not adding to them.
I had some(very minor) pricing problems with E|-|Phy- But their consult, delivery and meeting my needs is good to excellent. Sent records - did consult 3 days later - had meds in 3 days (weekend||). Consult was $45, QTY 90 GOOD watson generic 10/325's were $77. Shipping was $17.
Refills(2) on hydro are 77+17. |Their consult fee is the best around.
Valium |(good beneric barrs) were QTY 60 for $60 - so I cannodt afford to buy them for my spasms.

Rocky,
Has Ephy lowered their prices? I always paid $86 for my meds, #90 Hydro 10/325 Watson from Universal Pharm. The shipping fee was $27.50, Standard FedEx Overnight.
You said you were charged $77 for meds and $17 for shipping. From what you said, it sounds as if they have lowered their prices. I might need to think about starting to use them again, if this is true.

Hi back roxanne - you have to set up FED EX standard (not next day) and you can save $10 shipping. I'll have to check invoice but I know I was quoted $77. And I like the fact that they (universal pharmacy)use quality generics(watson etc).
I once (last year) filled a 90 norco generic script(my neurologist used to do pain mgt - then said he couldn't anymore)at Wal-mart and it was only $60. But they were only about 2/3 the pain relief strength of the Watson

Sorry I mis-wrote; FED EX P1 is next day by 10:30 AM costs 27. FED ex NEXT day is delivery by 2:00 pm next day costs $17. I wanted the pharmacy to just put them in a Express mail US Mail env (postage is $5.60) but they wouldn't do it.
I think that the thing that will finally shut down on-line med consults is their insistance that you use THEIR pharmacy - when is the last time you went for an office visit and were told that the doctor would only call the script in to 'HIS' pharmacy. Why that would make it possible for the selected pharmacy to overcharge for meds and kick-back to the perscriber! Such collusion is not legal in many states (called price fixing or restraint of trade)
Doctors practice medicine and perscribe meds - they usually don't make the economic decision for the patient as to WHERE he will fill his script. bUT every olmp i LOOKED AT thinks he can legally make a pharmacy choice for me
But you know what - because of the OLMP's I can walk many days - no longer lay in bed and pray to die. SO as far as I'm concerned they are entitled to what they can make(WITHIN REASON!) An extra $8 on shipping and an extra $8-10 dollars on GOOD generics is OK by me.
Charging twice as much for a med(any med take your pick) is not something I can afford.
Guess most of these OLMP's are making whatever they can on making a profit on meds/shipping etc. But the consult fee at E-phy is not overpriced (15/mo vs. $40/mo at most)

roxeanne... You are correct. The price for the #90 10/325 yellow Watsons is still $86, NOT $77. I'm not sure, cuz I've never ordered them, but the $77 is probably for the 10/650's. The higher the APAP dose, the lower the cost of the med is the rule of thumb here.

Forgot to add, this dollar figure is from a recent order, dated 7/15/04. The $17.50 is for FedEx 2nd Day Air delivery. Hope this clears things up.
