I'm also curious if anyone has used this site.
ALL of their prices are VERY low.
There is a thread here that indicates that this might be one of those places that contacts your PCP for a script.
From their order form:
Quote:
I agree to allow my Primary Care Physician to be contacted to verify this prescription. By choosing, If I do not agree, I understand that I will be contacted to receive information on an in-home consultation with a traveling physician at your (the customer) expense.
...........
Forget this place, just found this post elsewhere from 3/2004

Wow this operation just wont go AWAY!!!! This is the same operation as Refill Request, the one that seemed to have such great prices and then would send you a box of vitamins, shoe horn, and other worthless items and sign you up for a prescription discount plan that would conviniently be billed to your credit card monthly (which was a pain in the butt to get rid of) oh and the best part is they claim that your MD would not approve the med request although they never attempt to contact your md.....this one is a huge scam folks......do yourself a favor, try a google search on their customer service number, it will yeild a result of many online pharms as well as other stores, sex toys etc........My advice stay FAR FAR away!!!!!
Excerpts from the rx affiliate board, the whole story:
Quote:
Guys, FrontierPharmacies is the same as RefillRequest. .....
They all require the customer to provide their primary care physician's info and they will not ship any meds without this info.
They charge a non-refundable $19.95 processing fee and have free shipping for all orders because 95% of all controlled medication orders are denied. Almost 100% of the Hydro orders are declined. So, they end up lowballing everyone in existance because they know that none of the orders will ever go through. They keep the $19.95 processing fee for every order so basically they are making a $20 profit per sale and they don't even have to ship out a product! This is a great scam......
They received SquareTrade approval because they require a valid Doctor/Patient relationship just like Drugstoredotcom does. If they didn't require this Doctor/Patient relationship they would have never received approval.....
So for now they have a good thing going. That is until everyone finally learns that NOBODY will get their order! But who knows, there are an endless line of suckers out there that will buy their scam of "Lowball Prices" and "FREE Shipping" so who knows, maybe they have outsmarted us all. Only time will tell.
Remember, affiliate programs are not necessarily a bad thing. They're often a fine tool for marketing. This one however is a scam.
Also keep in mind that many Telemedicine Providers do ask for your PCP's name and phone # and you should provide it. They are most likely attempting to abide by some suggestion on the FDA website that I once saw that said something to the effect of "beware of any website selling medication that does not ask for your pcp's name and contact information".
