Well, I had a consult yesterdy evening, (finally)! The dr. Seems pretty nice, but here is my question. I am paying COD so I have to fax a photocopy of the MO (price of consultation), before script will be forwarded to pharmacy. I don't remember but will the pharmacy email the price of the meds to me? I want saturday delivery and I'm not quite sure how to do that either, and it's impossible for me to get through to SWMG. They haven't answered any emails (at least mine), for quite some time. Anybody have any advice? Thanks in advance.

Best bet is to call them. They are slow about answering email. I use COD as well. Call them and make sure they have rcd' your fax and released your RX to the pharmacy. Once the Rx is released, the pharmacy will email you the amount, although the price they emailed me was off by 7 dollars, which meant FedEx had to come back the next day because my money order amount was wrong. Tell them then you want Saturday delivery. I think it is 10 dollars more.

The problem is that I can't get through to them on the phone. I can't leave any messages because the mailbox is always full. I had to use an alternate fax# because their old one would not answer. I don't know about this group anymore. In the past, they were always easy to reach, always answered emails, ect. I faxed my photocopy to them yesterday at 10:30 in the morning, and I still did not have any info from the pharmacy by 3pm. I hope sombody from SWMG reads this, because I am really NOT a happy camper right now.

Sorry you're having trouble. : ( I rcd my meds just fine, etc. I think they're just backlogged but agree that they should be more organized. I think the owner of SWMG is over on the VIP board.

Yes, they are using Universal rx, out of Tampa. I got lucky with a consault, only had to wait a week. I have been back to their consault calender, and they seem to be booked solid.

I got a consult rather quickly. SWMG had no problem charging me for that. I got approved and recieved an email that i needed to come up with a new form of payment to complete my order as my card # was invalid. It wasn't invalid for the consult charge though. It is impossible to speak to a live person. I have left several messages. I have sent many emails as well. Many of my emails were deleted without anyone even reading them! This is going on 2 weeks. No one will help me!!!! Any advice???

Maby sombody will post the owners email address. I don't have it or I would give it to you. I finally recieved my meds, but I went through a lot of @#%$. Seems like they are terribly disorganised,I'm hoping they work things out because their customer service was fantastic in the past.

Definitely time to move on.
They can't duplicate the prescibing habits of their last physician unless the new one wants a short history as well.
Seriously giving out 150 per month based on a phone conversation is indefensible. There isn't an office based practice out there with pain mgmt habits like that unless they are treating cancer.trauma, or RSD. And then they would be using Class 2 opiates any way.
