Anyone used this OP?
      #172116 - 07/01/04 12:02 PM

Hi all,

I was just looking around over at www.Best if kept off the board.com and ended up looking at a website for an OP. The prices seem to good to be true, so what am I missing? For instance, here's one thing I found:

Hydrocodone 7.5/750mg (100 tabs) (Gen. for Vicodin ES) $28.99

The OP address is: http://www.rxonlineprescriptions.com/

Please let me know what I am missing.

Here we go again... they are using a different name. The prices are too good to be true. I wish this site was legit too, but it isn't. Just trust me- stay away.

Oh my gosh. It's a Best if kept off the board shame that they are probably not legit. $22 for 20 Norco is pretty great, and free shipping with every order. Maybe someone should try with a prepaid card. That way, they can't overcharge and if it doesn't come, you're only out 22 bucks. Maybe if they are still around after I get back from vacation, I'll have my hubby test it out.

Hmmm... well usually if it is too good to be true, it probably is. If this site is a scam (which it probably is), have any of you DBers ordered from a site which was similar to this one, but under another domain name? If so, please share your experiences. Thanks!

I clicked on order and went through part of the process, here's the catch (i think):4. I agree to allow my Primary Care Physician to be contacted to verify this prescription. By choosing, If I do not agree, I understand that I will be contacted to receive information on an in-home consultation with a traveling physician at your (the customer) expense.
I Agree I DISAGREE If you disagree, please explain why:

5. Please list your primary care physician name and contact information (including a telephone number) Required Field and Prior Prescription Needed.

Looks like they call your doctor to okay this prescription. Take care.

HUGE RIPOFF

They charge you $19.99 processing and send you a gift (comp mouse pad). They are to call your Dr. and have him send in your script (the phone call to your listed Dr. is what the $19.99 charge is for). I'm sure you call call you Dr. cheaper than $19.99. This is a RIPE-OFF site. I did it and they never have even contacted my doctor (per my doctor). Charge back to the VISA for sure

I like how fed ex overnight is free and fed ex 2 day is 12.00?? Nice touch.

The problem is these places can stay in business and still make millions, as there are millions of people with computers and credit cards that are not members of db.

I thought this one was the mouse pad vitamin site, but thought it was listed on there somewhere. Couldn't find it on there though. Didn't it used to have it in the faq's or somewhere? Take care.

There are more than a few "mouse pad and vitamin) false OPs. Everyone just take your time and spend your hard earned money at a reputable site that has gotten positive feedback.

The, for obvious reasons, but still funny thing is they promise you the world up until the point you are ready to complete the order and have to read the fine print.

How much is the in home consultation fee I wonder? Like $500 or something?

Also...look at the prices here:

Vicodin 5-500mg (10 pills) $24.99
Vicodin 5-500mg (20 pills) $29.99
Vicodin 5-500mg (30 pills) $35.99
Vicodin ES 7.5-750mg (10 pills) $24.99
Vicodin ES 7.5-750mg (20 pills) $31.99
Vicodin ES 7.5-750mg (30 pills) $37.99
Hydrocodone 7.5/750mg (100 tabs) (Gen. for Vicodin ES) $28.99 ORDER
Hydrocodone 7.5/750mg (20 tabs) (Gen. for Vicodin ES) $21.99 ORDER
Hydrocodone 7.5/750mg (30 tabs) (Gen. for Vicodin ES) $22.99 ORDER
Hydrocodone 7.5/750mg (90 tabs) (Gen. for Vicodin ES) $29.99 ORDER
Hydrocodone 10/325 (20 tabs) (Gen. for Norco) $21.99 ORDER

Why would anyone order hydro 7.5/750 90 tabs for 29.99
When you can get 100 tabs for only 28.99? On the same page!
I just woke-up so if this dosen't make sense sorry. It just didn't seem right.
Everyone have a wonderful 4th weekend!

Yes, their prices are good, the same as yo might pay at your local pharmacy. The problem is they do not send meds, they have you join their club for 19.99 a month to find the best prices for the script they have obtained from your Dr. They called my Dr. and I also had to close a CC because they were harging the monthly "club" fee! Check their phone number I have found that they almost all end in 5090,you might want to go back and check it out. Also a charge back is very difficult as they do send you a fed-x pkg.which you are required to be home to sign only to open it and find misc. items advertsing their "club",this is where you have heard of the infamous mouse pads, tongue srapers, vitamins and whatever Best if kept off the board they have on hand.By saying you must be 21 to sign and you must be home,it adds doubt to a chargeback case.True Low-life rip-offs.Hope this helps.......wren'

Wow, what scum.
I think that is awful what they're doing. That is really low. I can't understand people sometimes. Taking advantage of some, trying to make a buck off of someone by being deceitful.

Especially the way they make it look so legit and like a normal OP ("Press here to order").

Scum.

I believe doing a charge-back is still very feasible. I just think the request would have to be more thoroughly documented than otherwise required. For example, if you can submit an order-status link, along with the username and password (if needed to access the link), or an email receipt hardcopy that demonstrates what the order was actually for (as opposed to what you received) while simultaneously submitting the items received, like the scraper or the mousepad (or digital photos thereof), along with copies of any and all accompanying documentation that arrived along with it, they would probably side with you in the matter, because the odds of someone going through the time and effort required to fake these items to obtain a refund of the size involved are miniscule. Moreover, chances are that many other people have already submitted these same exact items (or reports thereof) to their CC companies, which ultimately tends to reinforce the credibility of these requests.

--------------------
When you think it's beyond your comprehension, it probably just precedes it.
